  • Hello and welcome back to the channel and if you're new here, then hello and welcome. My name is Maddison and this is my monthly podcast about all the crafty things I get up to each month.

January has thrown a curve ball in to my plans for the year, but I'm making the most of it and embracing the change. However it means I really need to have a thorough sort out and begin my move North a little earlier than planned. In the meantime I've clearly been procraftinating and working on lots of small projects instead of focusing on the larger projects that really do need my attention. I've also been feeling extremely overwhelmed by all the packing that I know I need to do and therefore wanted some quick wins to make me feel better.
I have however added some free patterns to my Ravelry store too which have proven popular, and has spurred me on to release more patterns in the future too. My ravelry store can be found here: www.ravelry.co...

Love love the poncho you was wearing, the polar bear is super cute, can’t wait to see how the Disney blanket comes out. X

Thank you Sam, the poncho is super easy and as it's in Aran, it works up quick too. I'm looking forward to working on the blanket in Scotland as I've almost finished packing all my yarn away now...

Those 24 jewel toned skeins are gorgeous. Instead of using black with them have you thought about using a silver grey color? I also really like how those Pantone granny squares came out. It’ll be interesting how you decide to group them when you put together the blanket - maybe one side are the squares from the top down and the other side from the bottom up? Sort of like an inverse effect.

Those jewellery tones really are gorgeous, they're on gold sparkle so I'm not sure about adding silver to them... I will have to have a think. I've managed to dig out some chunky that's similar so I'm going to be working up some more squares ready for joining 😀
