It seems that there is the purpose which pass the information on to motorman more reliable by maintaining eye contact. Polite manner is good, but they are not the mass-produced robots of JR or military men. I do not so like this salutation. (^-^)>

I love the shinkansen! The trip from/to Tokyo/Shin-Osaka is the best way to travel. So fast SOOOO very fast. :D And Fun!
