The best quote: "nobody is charging you to press a shutter" My camera is by my side everyday, whether it's in the car and on the way to work where I'm the company photographer, or when I go to the grocery store or see my family in another city. I also try to find local events every week. After spending one hour or several shooting photos, I'm incredibly happy that I got out to meet new people who love photographers and seeing what I shot. You don't have to travel thousands of miles to take amazing photos when it's right in your backyard.
I LOVE this! That’s the way. ❤️ Not just to practise and satisfy your passion but also because it’s a great way to network and let everyone sees and know that you’re a photographer. You never know when a client is around the corner… So nice to hear this. Keep it up! 😍📸
Thank you for this Laura. You are one of the first Photographers/RUclipsrs I subscribed to when starting my photography journey. I am still learning and I’m grateful to have channels like yours to inspire me along the way. Keep shining + creating. ✨
I really appreciate your videos. I am starting out from 0 and have watched your channel for a few days now. You explain everything so well. I am learning a lot from your videos and you. Thanks for the effort you are putting out there. Blessed be
Thankyou Laura, i have retired after years in construction and now looking to pursue something new. I have just done a beginner photo class yesterday and im hooked. Your videos are very inspirational
Laura... Another great video. Yes... Starting without guidance and no mentor are a challenge. I am thankful for you for sharing your life experiences and your passion for photography with us. You alway providing tools to help us to move forward in the art of photography. 💯. Enjoy Bali 💜
Thank you so much Wise! Loving Bali and my new life here. And I have so many more videos planned that I hope you like too! 🥰 I’m glad you enjoyed this one and thank you so much for your feedback and amazing support always. ❤️
I saw your post about your story pursuing your dream in London and moved to Bali. Great story, as ppl said, the difference between winner and looser, winner..when they're falls they're quickly gets up even stronger.
I enjoy watching your channel and others to learn more about photography. Some of the best advice I’ve ever heard is when you said to go out and shoot photos and then come back and examine your own photos. This helps you a lot in order to see what you did right and how you can improve for the next time. What a great way to learn photography! Keep shooting 📷
You're so right. I've been an amateur for 60 years. This morning I drove 170 miles to a place I've been to many times to take the same shots and this time I hope they will be what I want 😁
Yessss! That’s the way! 😍 Love it! I come back to the same locations many times and it’s great to see how we improve when we learn from our own mistakes. Well done!
Agreed. I take one of my cameras to work or where-ever I go. Sometimes I get a great opportunity. Other times the opportunity is there while the camera is still in the bag at home 😭😂
Hahaha this happened to me a million times too. 😂 And after 15 years I keep doing the same mistake. Missing shots the days I don’t take my camera with me. 😅
Hi Laura I am so happy to see you in a country which I love the most of in this world. I always enjoy your lovely educational videos and it helps me to motivate myself to be a successful photographer like you. It's my dream to meet you in person and learn from you phototrophy in person and be successful like you. And by the way I'm Aditya one of your huge fan. Please keep creating and keep teaching us always.Cheers Buddha bless you and your sweet family always 😊❤❤❤

Thank you John! I couldn’t agree more with you. Video is indeed very challenging. I learn something new everyday and it takes a lot of time to sort out footage. My new vlog is taking me ages. Hopefully I can share it next week! 🙏🏼
Laura Saludos de Pennsylvania! I wanted to see how you are liking your Sony. I switched from Nikon to Sony and I am personally struggling a lot. Wondering how you like it

"Insane" 😅 that's the word that describe the process when you go through mostly by yourself (I can say in my case). Thanks a lot for such moments of sharing experiences & tutorials 🤙🏻 I have enjoyed a lot this video showing us that the overwhelmed sensation can be avoided 😉 (at least, minimized). Peace 🙏🏻 Take care... See ya, blue skies 🤙🏻🍀📸
Right?? 😅 I’m glad you can relate. The feeling of being overwhelmed it’s something very common. We just need to embrace it and don’t overthink too much. And you’re most welcome. I’m very happy to know that you like my videos. 😊 Big hug!
Thank you so much. 🙏🏼 I’m always careful. For now, I’ve always felt safe. But I’m aware I need to be very aware of my surroundings constantly. Even though I feel safer here than in London anyhow. 😄
Hello . You do not see me on your channel Lady . Nevertheless I share you on my FB .. I am very invisible now for many many reasons . Best of success to your career and channel .
Your video offered great, sound advice that is not often addressed or covered by photographers ... Much of the time, the basics, and technical aspects are the focus. Thank you for posting/ sharing.
Thank you! I’m glad you liked the video. I really wanted to touch this topic because as you said, not many people talk about it and I think it’s one of the most important aspects when learning photography. ❤️
Love your channel Laura. I am myself going to start my RUclips channel on photography & short video. Getting a Nikon Z30 in April. Ive been shooting since i was 7 years old thankfully because my Dad was a Photographer. Adios & que tengas un lindo die 🥰

@@LauraBC Thats the problem… talk, talk and more talk… but you are spanish, so I understand. Photography is visual, it is more interesting if you show what and how you do it instead of all the talking.. We dont need to see your face, we need to see what you do.

Why so many cameras? 😊 And with what do you struggle the most? I’m planning to do workshops in the future. Probably here in Asia. 🥰
