Luke has some crazy brain rot. A horror game focusing on story and characters and he literally get so bored just because there aren’t hordes of monsters. That’s crazy and embarrassing
I can see why he didn’t like Hellblade 2.
No it’s not. He just has different tastes in games.
While I do agree, I also think that a good trailer still needs to be engaging to actually be good. As someone who know what the story is, I'm able to look past how dull the trailer feels, but you can't expect a new comer to feel the same, the trailer is edited very poorly, and doesn't actually show much beyond James walking around with occasional cut scenes that would just be confusing to anyone who is not familiar with the original.
I LOVE Silent Hill 2, but even I felt really bored by the trailer by the time it finished.
I agree
It may just be ADHD, to be fair.
God, looking at his chat… It seems like children are watching him rather then adults
Yeah it usually comes across that way 😂
As if real adult watch streamers... people who watch streamers are just children, manchild or creepy manchild. Real adults work outside.
Oh please, are you expecting a socratic forum of intellectual debate? Most Chatters know that twitch chat is completely useless and people won't see your message anyway, they just want to have fun by posting memes and stupid crap.
I just started realizing this; from the condescending infantile responses to any skepticism.
I don't know if your chat mentioned this. But it would be wrong to compare this franchise to Resident evil or any action heavy horror game. Though resident evil inspired the franchise. The original SH games relied heavily on depth of story, atmosphere, and symbolism. Action was NOT the priority. Seeing this gameplay trailer made me realize that they are getting the game right. Also when in combat you aren't supposed to feel "strong" you're playing as a broken depressed ordinary man. so in that context you are actually supposed to feel weak and underpowered. So yes the melee animations look weird. It's on purpose, it always was. If you don't like that thing that's more than okay. The rest of us that are interested will play it :)
Exactly. Two totally different beasts. You can definitely tell who played the original compared to the new "omg resident evil" fans. It pisses me off the level of hate being thrown at the long awaited return of lost beloved franchise as if they want it to fail. I would like to see 1 through 4 at least get this level of remake or remaster but if people keep being toxic it'll never happen.
Couldn't have said it better myself. Silent Hill doesn't have over-the-top bosses, big guns, tons of ammo, jumping through windows, etc. It's supposed to be more atmospheric, more emphasis on storytelling, sound design, puzzle design, type of experience.
I disagree with the animations. That really sounds like cope. The actual animation of swinging a pipe does have smooth transitions, hence the janky look. Your melee options can still be weak but the animation should still look natural. Even his walk cycle still looks undone, it's not smooth or realistic looking. It's not game breaking or anything and we'll get used it. But call it what it is please.
Wrong, the heavy fog for technical reasons was for the first silent hill because of the limited draw distance, the dynamic fog in the second one actually cost a lot of ressources to render(constant transparency).
That looks good to me. It nailed the look and feel of the original. It's hard to nail down atmosphere in a trailer. To me playing this with a pair of headphones in the dark looks like a good time!
I’m so excited for this man. Owning 2-4 is lovely and being able to replay originals whenever I’d like and now being able to revisit in a modern terms is gonna be great. Of course, have to temper expectations, but this presentation set my excitement in stone
Luke titles when it’s an Xbox game: “I have concerns, it looks not very good”
Luke when the game comes from Sony and looks like shit:
I'm sorry, but am I wearing rose-tinted glasses? I think the visuals are pretty good. In some shots the game looks phenominal, and sometimes it looks a little old, but in a good way that seems true to the original game. I can't blame it on nostalgia goggles, since I played the remaster only a few years ago. So, wth?
No it looks great. People today just have to hate on EVERYTHING because that's the current internet trend
100% agree. As I was watching I’m telling myself, wow this looks great to me as someone who played and loved the original. No clue what others are complaining about, but guess I shouldn’t be surprised by that.
no we actually getting a good remaster (still cautious, but god damn am I impressed)
I'm convinced alot of the mosr miserable fans have decided to try to make this game fail as hard as it can
It's not just you, lol. I think the gameplay trailer looks incredible as well.
Honestly... The game looks GREAT to me 🤷♂️ The only thing I kinda hate that they got rid of is those Static/Panning Camera Shots that these games used to use (like Slient Hill/Devil May Cry/Resident Evil/God Of War etc. etc.) cause the normal 3rd Person Over The Shoulder camera is just eeeh 😒
Oh, don't worry. I'm sure when this comes out, modders will be working on changing that, lol.
That’s a byproduct of modern game design. Fixed camera angles haven’t been used for the last 20 years. It sucks because they really did have a lot to say, but you can’t really blame Bloober for what’s an industry standard. Besides, fixed cameras are a much harder sell for the casual crowd. That’s why nobody uses them.
@@Ckoz2829 Yeah I know why, just sucks is all 😅
As someone that was a big fan of the first four games this looks great to me.
Dang, I'm 20 years older than Luke.
It looks great to me, cant wait to play it
Luke said in one of his latest videos he is 26 - I thought he's 35-40 Apparently life is quite rough when you are a RUclipsr :P
Luke was 4 when Silent Hill 2 came out. I'm not old I'm not old I'm not old.
Sadly its a game from Bloober team, and now we are discovering DEI is involved so, probably now Im going to play it later Not day one.
The MOST important thing to capture in SH2 is the tone and atmosphere, then the story and dialogue. "Combat" was never really the focal point of it, just a necessity of survival, but so long as the tone and the setting give the right feel it should be "ok". This Remake trailer feels off, and not in a good way. It feels too Resident Evil rather than Silent Hill, and that's a big problem.
The OG SH2 still holds up to this day because of how unique it is as an experience, if this Remake can't tap into the essence of the OG, it's not going to end well for it. SH2 is one of the cornerstones of psychological horror, and is so unique in it's own genre that even other Silent Hill games don't really feel the same way to it.
People who say this feel like RE are just restarted and following the bot hate because is popular.
@@mrX666-s9pbingo
Anyone else sorry that PT (Silent Hills) never got made? That "demo" seriously haunted me, both because of the psychological horror elements, the cryptic puzzles, the crushing atmosphere and my neverending curiosity towards it, even though it scared the living s out of me. It was like the puzzle box from Hellraiser; frightening, fascinating and intoxicating at the same time. This seems okay, but if you played PT before anyone knew what it was, THAT was horror at its finest.
The PT demo was seriously one of the most terrifying survival horror...things I've ever played in my life. Not really a game, but yeah, a demo. It really hit close to home given those days I'd play hide and go seek with my Uncle during stormy days in Pennsylvania. I felt claustrophobic in his house. It was also an old house. Certain parts of the house were a bit off limits for us kids, which also made it more scary.
PT had that same claustrophobic and scary vibe to it. And the development of the story, too, for such a relatively short demo was truly incredible. I honestly felt horrible for Lisa as the story progressed.
I hate to say this because of how much I loved PT, but I'm almost (ALMOST) glad that PT was canceled, only because the trailer for PT that was later revealed seemed to focus more on supernatural and bizarre things than a story that was closer to home and more believable. Lisa was literally larger than life. She towered over you in the PT demo, yet I could still believe her being that big because she was dead and haunting you. She was like...a larger, more terrifying version of her human self to intentionally make her scary.
I would have been curious to have learned more about the backstory of the main game, had it been made. But I remember a LARGE creature with massive limbs chasing you down a hallway. It was pretty creepy, but again, since it was unknown to me and wasn't something I'd ever seen before, it just felt...a little less frightening when I was watching it. But hey, that's just me!
Rough Character models, Stiff animations, clunkly melee combat. The PS3 era is so back 😎
Exactly! The environments look polished, but those models, the animation, it’s so outdated.
I dont even mind it, PS3/360 era had the best games. I dont mind clunky animations as long as the game is good
Dude thats the way its supposed to be. It's silent hill not fucking resident evil
That’s how silent hill is meant to be, it’s literally the charm. God resident evil has spoiled the gaming community too much
I think you just described SH2, if not, almost every game on the PS2, lol.
Children in gaming these days are an interesting breed. The graphics never made silent hill neither did the combat. But everyone will salivate over hellblade 2 after it gave them a 4hr long campaign, linear path and basic combat.
you say children but play games😂😂
@@Slaphard …OI get outta here you
Gotta say, genuinely a little upsetting to see so many people who don't care/ haven't played the OG Silent Hill games and expect this to be some huge Last of Us style blockbuster game or in the same vein as RE. This game is not for you guys lmao this is for people who want a version of silent hill that isn't godawful to play through gameplay wise.
I’ve never played silent hill 2. And I’ve heard conflicting opinions about the trailers. Some are excited. Some are cautious. Some absolutely hate it already. And while I’ve never played it, I’ve come to respect the amount of passion behind it and just how brilliant it was for its time. How it handles trauma and mental illness is something that’s never been able to be captured again. This remake will either understand that and absolutely nail it, or it will be a total failure. Either roll a 20, or utterly fail. That seems to be the pressure that this game will be under. Which is daunting, but unfortunately also fair. Remakes have a lot to live up to in general. Especially if the original is so beloved. Resident evil has been mostly killing it with the remakes.
Do whatever you can to play the original on PS2, even if means emulating. I rarely say this but it is a beautiful work of art. Top 10 all time on my list.
The fact that it's conflicting should already tell you they screwed up.
Just play the original. The PC version is pretty much a remastered version with the mod you can add onto it. Just do that. There is absolutely no need for this remake.
@@Arizona-ex5ytI’ve been trying to find a way. I’ve also heard to play a version with the original dialogue. To keep that “uncanny” feeling to it. This game seems to be extremely deliberate in how WEIRD it wants to be. Making you second guess everything and find new meaning
The older trailers looked bad/okay. Lots of people are really liking the 15 min gameplay shown after the state of play. I’ll admit, those 15 minutes looked leagues better than everything shown before
You should play it. Its quite easy to get on PC and doesnt take too long
Looks good and if they make it their own all the better. Sh2 og is one of the best games ever and it still holds up. So a silent hill inspired remake is the best idea
Loved the original Silent Hill 2. While I don't expect any Remake to be 100% accurate to the original i am excited to play this game.
Honestly, it looks much better than I was expecting.
Im crazy or this guy never played released before 2010?
Every time he says "im just 26!!!"
Guy clearly have a fair limited game experience, its not interested in most things and just want to talk about The Last of Us, Bloodborne and Elden Ring(although his reaction for the last lore trailer were terrible).
Tell me, why people care about he thinks? For God sake, this guy in the RE4 review that he started caring about games about when he entered in the college.
This is a joke and i cant take someone like that seriously
Agreed. One look at a negative comment in his chat and he immediately pivots to bashing the trailer. Then admits he never played the original and obviously didn't even bother to watch any footage of the original for comparison. Yet somehow still thinks he can critique it to the favor of his chat
I'm the same age as him and I know more about this game, I played it religiously as a kid, it was literally my era growing up, the PS2 and Gamecube. I don't think you can use age as an excuse. You can't make an accurate critique with prior knowledge
@@Hoop499 Yeah, im 30 years old, just a little older and i played it when i was an adult, my favorite game of all time(Final Fantasy VII), released when i was just 3
As far as animations go in Unreal, you have this thing called an animation blend space and when done correctly you can jam pack it with animations between animations based on velocity and direction. At the same time you can do per bone animations to split up lower body and upper. If they did it right they have at least one animation between walk and jog if not two. If you get it right it looks seamless and perfect. I've only glanced at the footage and it seems like the footage itself is scuffed (the camera movement had judder). I hope it's just that and not the game itself.
We wouldn't really know for sure until we can get our hands on it.
It's doing well as far as tone and gameplay. It's difficult to look at this remake as anything new when this game has been imitated to death by other devs. As fan of the original, it's on the right track.
Agreed. Besides some animation issues which can easily be ironed out over the next 4 months
I can't help but feel this game is getting so much unfair hate at the moment because it's under the Konami brand, which, to be fair Konami does suck but I'm sorry, this game looks pretty decent. I don't understand all the people whining about it. Obviously we need to see more of it to make a more educated decision but at the moment for a game that most likely has a fairly small budget because Konami are so stingy with spending, looks pretty good. There are clearly a few hitches that need to be worked on still like a few combat animations that need to be cleaned up some, particularly when hitting a downed enemy with the melee weapon but other than that it mostly looks pretty good for a remake most of us didn't even expect would ever be made until it was announced. The only legit issue I have is with some of the dialogue, not because it's bad per se, even OG SH2 has some awful dialogue and bad delivery (looking at you Angela), but some of it just feels a bit rushed or overused (fart-face). All and all though, people can hate all they want but this game now has my interest a bit.
It's cause it looks like an indie and costs the AAA price if 70 bucks
You have not the full context.
This guy needs a Ubisoft title or something to be impressed
Blondie is actually the female protagonist in the game. 😁
The cinematics and the atmosphere look fantastic. Animations a bit stiff, but that's ok 🙂
It looks great to me
Thats why you don't understand the game. For all of us that Played back in the days. knows how this looks good.
I’m a massive fan of the silent hill games (I replay them every few months) I am beyond stoked to play this remake
Me too! The story will be unchanged and they nailed the atmosphere imo. I bet there will be plenty of mods that will add some polish too if you're on pc.
Yeah same dude seeing so many wanna be fake fans saying ohh this is shit it is not like the old game and stupid shit like that. A true fan would be excited to play the best sillent hill with next gen graphics a dream come true. This game is just for the fans because these day and age many have brain root from fortnite and tik tok.
@muresanandrefi7565 facts
Yeah, same. I still have Silent Hill 2 and 4 on OG Xbox. I need to play those again.
I'm still getting the game regardless because I enjoy horror games. It would be my first Silent Hill game I've ever played so I have no idea of the lore or anything
Bloober Team is definitely pushing above their weight. I'm rooting for them to revolutionize their typical formula
As a hardcore SH fan I’m impressed compared to the combat trailer. The walkthrough has a few parts I despise like James getting the radio in a random house. But the environment is stunning and the cinematics were great and eerie. I hope a few things like combat jank is fixed before October but I’d give it a 7/10 so far. A RUclipsr who I’d say is a SH expert is Max Derrat he made a great critique earlier I highly reccomend it
Boho
Another max fan yay
I like the radio placement /introduction to combat change personally. If anything it's done for "modern gamers " who would immediately stop playing because they'd never even make it to the radio. It's for the new "ermagherd resident evil " fans to have a chance 😀
@@MrSwitchblade327 yeah I found it odd they changed the script for that. The tunnel looked a lot creepier for the lying figure to appear but a few different beats in the remake will make it fresh so I’m open to it
I dont think they could recreate what made the original game so good. It was a great time for games and a lot of them felt new and fresh. Now everything is a remake or copying something else.
What makes silent hill work on the older consoles is that the graphics of those consoles helped create a more ominous atmosphere which made the game more creepy. I doubt you could make silent hill as scary with new graphics
PT was pretty good for a demo, tho.
Looks amazing, so hyped
The original game was so revolutionary at the time with its mature themes and unique atmosphere.
All this guy does is talk crap about video games
He said a game was bad before release bc of studio drama. He talks crap about ac but praised mirage. It was the worst game. He hates valhala and odyssey im so sick of him
The one thing I notices is for some reason in canada, the price point for pre-ordering the remake is like $4 more than the standard price of a new release (i.e. standard price for new AAA is 79.99/89.99, but Silent Hill 2 Remake standard edition is 93.49) not sure why this is the case, but I found it weird, especially for a game that visually doesn't look as polished as one would hope
only thing is I really like the old camera locked stuff, wish remakes stuck with that instead of moving to a modern 3rd person over-shoulder camera
Silent hill 2 didn't have locked cameras. Only certain shots
@@MrSwitchblade327 I never got to play the original myself, just remember a lot of what I saw being not over the shoulder, like some of the old resident evil games, love the camera angles like that
Why the sun is shining so bright through the hospital windows when there's no sun outside?
Eye candy nonsense. In the original sure the sun was setting at that point but it was a subtle change in the tint.
This is the first time I pre ordered a game in 3 years
Immediately starts shitting on things to impress his chat. This is silent hill not resident evil and i guarantee you bloober team didn't even have a quarter the budget as any resident evil remake. Im sick of modern "gamers" trashing everything and campaigning for its downfall before any release and then whining that theres nothing to play. You literally didn't even play the original and bash everything they kept from the original. Next time at very least look at the original material before making a video where you "analyze, judge, and critique " something you clearly have no clue about.
The first silent Hill two was heavily influenced by Twin Peaks. And so there was this abstract, dark Americana creature for the world to digest and emulate. I think culturally, Silent Hill had a wonderful combination of absurd Lynchian horror mixed with Japanese sensibilities.
I’m pretty mixed on it, it looks ok visually but man the character models look pretty rough to me and the movement doesn’t look quite right, i just can’t place it. Hope it turns out well
the weight of the movement, i think thats it. swinging the plank like its a magazine or the quick movements with no buildup.
Yeah, the characters look like they’ve been aged way down. Ironically, Laura looks like she was aged up a bit.
This game needs to be delayed for another 2 years at least.
stiff animations
I think James looks the best so far. Which makes sense considering he's the playable character.
The only Silent Hill game I've played is the one where you're trapped in your own home and you can't get out the front door, but at some point there's a hole in the bathroom and you get to something from there. I thought it was a pretty scary game and a good and challenging game at the same time. If anyone remembers what it was I would be grateful.
Silent Hill 4
@@raiderlegend4989 Thanks
@@railasvuoYou're welcome bro.
Looks great my only gripe is some of the animations
Do not listen to anyone saying the remake looks fine. They either never played the originals or failed to understand them just like this dev team. I played 1-4, beaten them multiple times for multiple endings, hidden secrets, and lore. People who say Silent Hills story is open to interpretation only say that because they didn’t bother to pay attention, there is a very deliberate and carefully crafted story. Everything you see in the environment, the character design, anything you read, has a purpose. Just looking at the world and characters it’s obvious to anyone who knows what they are talking about that this is going to be a disaster.
At first I said “there is no way she said fart face”, then she doubled down. Fuck me dude
I was a fan of Silent Hill as it was coming out. In general, those games were famous for being the scariest games in existence, which was easier than nowadays (PT did it, but we know how that turned out). Silent Hill 2 especifically was the first psychological horror game, and depicted the darkness of the human mind in an accurate and not-fetishized way, which no one had done before in a videogame. Now, that is an expected standard in a script, so it's hard for this remake to be groundbreaking in that aspect. The game also has some crazy plot twists that nobody saw coming back then. Still good plot twists today. The characters are also very interesting and likeable yet hateable, and have a depth that didn't exist in the media at the time
Played Silent Hill 2 on the original Xbox when I was about 15. It's one of a kind. There really is nothing like it. Psychological horror in it's best and purest form. I really hope this remake captured the mood from the original. It's really hard to capture the mood and atmospere in a trailer.
The movement is so stilted that if you mash buttons it’s probably like having a slow computer. The more inputs you put the more queue up and the longer you have to wait
silent hill 2 will DEFINITELY be divisive among the hardcore silent hill fans, especially cuz SH2 is the most deep Silent Hill game. But I doubt it'd penetrate to make the mainstream audience hate the SH2 remake unless if the game is a bad product.
4:49 👀
It doesn't look horrible by any means, but something is clearly off. It's no RE2 remake for sure, that game has an insane level of polish, but it's fine. The atmosphere seems intact and the voice acting is great and that's what counts for me.
Yeah it’s no re2 but you can tell they were trying for it
I think "what's missing" for people is that a lot of people expect it to be on the level of RE2, when RE2 has a bigger budget and far more going on gameplay wise.
The voice acting is awful imo
I feel pretty mixed about the voice acting based on what we’ve seen. In some scenes it sounds fine, in others it sounds flat.
I really want to be excited for this, but it just gives me too many bad vibes. The original is genuinely one of my favorite games ever, but I always wanted them to do some sort of remake to update the mechanics as I always felt that was the one bad part of the game, but this doesn't look better, it looks bad in a different way.
A friend told me it’s a pocket dimension that manifests your guilt
It's more like a layer of reality, a dream is far more accurate to what it is. Like the fog world is non REM and it there are deeper and deeper layers of the dream
"Games go to gamepass as a last resort" Palworld, Lies of P, and Starfield say hi
I like Luke, but he seriously needs to stop shitting on games just because they’re not a common genre when it’s pretty obvious what the intention of the game is.
can confirm its EXTRA GHETTO here in Philly lol
I think this demo was meant to soothe expectations from fans of the og, that’s why I feel Luke doesn’t really see the appeal. Sadly I doubt he will play the original.
Wtf is with his movement man? It doesn’t matter what’s going on around you if the character walks like someone trying to hold back an apocalypse exploding from his asshole
I have a bad feeling about this game 😢
This honestly looks like a last gen title.
It’s nothing like the original intent of the game, this is like Disney Star Wars or 343 halo it’s not the same.
Totally understandable.
In what way? I think it looks pretty faithful to the original. Obviously they're not going to have the same voice actors so it might be a bit jarring but that's it.
The silent hill community is the worst people will whine about anything and everything. I would largely ignore them.
It’s going to be the best PS3 game. Ever.
I'm still mixed about how I feel about it...but looking forward to the end product
Game looks good. Idk why he hates on games all the time.
This is what a man who’s never played silent hill 2 looks and sounds like
I'm not sure why people are upset about the combat, I'm pretty sure their was a pipe weapon and a shotgun in the first and second game. the only thing that needs work is just polishing the gameplay, making it look dirtier and more fog.
Because combat encounters look more forced. In the OG you realistically didnt have to kill anything basically
@@moniumus6303 what about the bosses?
@@moniumus6303 they literally show James avoiding a nurse encounter in the gameplay trailer
@@bnacronama_na947 well those obviously but other than that you can run past everything
@@TheLastDaysOfSorrow it’s good they showed that. But enemies do look more aggressive/prone to grabbing you. In the OG you could just Zig zag through entire corridors filled with enemies
Where is the music?, the music was what sold the original to me, specially in the trailers.
It feels way off.
Their games are polished because they are polish xD
Looks okay. Looks like re4. Why are people crying like graphics mean shit.
re4 cope more bro, your fav game looks shit get over it
The game looks amazing and the gameplay looks good too some of the hitting animations look meh but besides that the game looks really good I’m pretty sure it’s gonna be a classic 9/10 once it releases I’m sure I’ll be coping day 1 but I’ll wait till I see more
Looks like a DEI shitshow with SBI at the helm
These new 15
Minutes of gameplay looked phenomenal and leagues better than eveything shkwn before ngl. Very excited for this release
I love how the wood appears on his hands 😂😂 4:50
the most basic thing they could mess up was turning the snow into ash...
just immediately tells you how hard they did not look or refer to the source material at all...
All Bloober Team's games are Polish... ed ;P
I just want this game to run well .. given the graphics seem just okay to me
I like it - they transported the monster designs extremely well into current gen graphics. Part of the grotesque effect on the original monster designs was the low poly models and low res textures turning the monsters into blobs in parts, making them HD now and still look that good and scary is a real feat. Especially having pyramid head's head now actually morph around victims looks insane - back then it was just a few polygons expanding in an awkward way. My only critique with monsters is that the erratic movements peppered between their attacks and movement are missing now. Especially the nurses had spasms every time they stood still and never had several moves and attacks in a row, giving them planty of chance to spasm.
I get it, Bloober Team always had a bit of their own unique way of directing voice actors, animators and yeah, you can totally call it jank, like an original national broadcasting network TV production is jank. But i find it still very immersive and it doesn't bother me. I think this is the first game by them where i see actual expanded combat, and i think they are doing a solid job for a survival horror game's combat judging from the trailer. The only part where i'm a bit on the fence still is that Bloober Team never really made a survival horror game to my knowledge, at least one where resources play a big role - item placement for Bloober Team always was about narrative design and puzzles but not about combat resources. So, either they will stuff the maps with items or place them too sparcely because their play testers probably won't need a lot of them anymore after the 100th test playthrough.
We will see, i'm looking forward to it.
games aren't more expensive than ever, snes games cost 70$ + inflation = we get more game for less money now. resident evil 4 remake is 40$
And to think that I said this could be the game that makes me buy a PS5…I’d be better off holding on to the toaster that is the switch
I have a theory that Laura us Allessa
Am i the only one getting resident evil vibes. I never played the original. Am i supposed to be getting these vibes?
Shame on me, but I rarely buy games anymore on day one and usually wait for a sale. Largely because recent titles just can't make me that excited, also there's no publisher/developer whose word I trust and confident that their next release won't turn out to be dissappointing. I don't really fancy the recent political/ideoligical trends either - they're often presented way too agressively and I'm pretty much allergic to the smallest dose at this point. Me being not the richest person, my experience is that it's better to watch a few hours of post-release gameplay in order to to make sure purchasing is right for me. My second biggest argument for waiting is that the games I'm interested in are usually in better shape the older they are; by the time a game is a few months old, many of the issues get ironed out and often more content is added. Simply put, it's better value for the money
Played the game over the years a couple of times, first time when I was 14-15, most recently about a year ago. The game is janky af. This didn't bother me as much all those years ago, but nowadays it definitely stands out. What the game still has that is unique is the atmosphere and the story, and I think Bloober nailed those two, and also got rid of the archaic fixed camera angles and made the combat better. It's not going to be a 10/10 game, but it's going to be better than the original Silent Hill 2 in every way.
It's been a long time. I don't remember the second one. Only the first one and harsh reviews of "the room" one.
Sirens, it was the sirens! Fog, crowbar, similar streets and no map was the gameplay loop hooking people.
Konami games are available in my region at least. That's a W for one of the worst gaming companies.
What about this game could possibly be button mashy dude?
Oof i just have beef with the animations, im a sucker for those
I'm gonna pass. fuckin sick of cinematic walking sims
I think It'll be good
