2024 FIRST ICE LAKE MINNETONKA | EARLY ICE CRAPPIES

In this video, Eli and I got on some early ice on Lake Minnetonka. Despite most of the lake being open water still, we managed to get on 4” of ice. Pretty fun to get out on early ice and catch a bunch of crappies in only an hour. The Panoptix made it so fun to see the fish come up and eat the jig. Always make sure to be safe early ice because no fish is worth risking your life over.
The setup we were using was a 30” noodle rod with a pink tungsten jig tipped with a plastic.
