Welcome to the intriguing world of gold and silver investing! Have you ever found yourself captivated by the shimmering allure of these precious metals? If so, you're not alone. Join me on a journey as we explore the multifaceted reasons behind why we buy gold and silver.
For me, stacking silver and gold began as a hobby, a fascination with the tangible beauty of these timeless assets. As I started delving deeper into the world of precious metals, my motivations evolved. What started as a hobby soon transformed into a means of financial security and wealth preservation.
Over time, my outlook on gold and silver investing has shifted. Initially driven by the desire to acquire shiny coins and bars, I began to appreciate the historical significance and intrinsic value of these metals. Gold and silver have stood the test of time as reliable stores of wealth, unaffected by the fluctuations of fiat currencies and economic uncertainties.
But it's not just about financial security. Investing in gold and silver has also become a way for me to diversify my portfolio and protect against inflation. In a world of constant change and uncertainty, having a tangible asset like gold and silver provides a sense of stability and peace of mind.
Moreover, there's a certain satisfaction that comes with holding physical gold and silver in your hands. It's a tangible reminder of the value of hard work and prudent financial planning. Each coin or bar tells a story, whether it's a piece of history or a symbol of hope for the future.
As I continue to stack silver and gold, my reasons for doing so have become deeply personal. It's not just about financial gain, but also about preserving wealth for future generations and leaving a legacy of stability and security.
So, why do we buy gold and silver? The reasons are as diverse as the individuals who invest in them. Whether it's for financial security, portfolio diversification, or simply the joy of owning something beautiful and valuable, gold and silver hold a special place in the hearts and portfolios of many.
Join me as we delve into the fascinating world of gold and silver investing, and discover why these precious metals continue to captivate us generation after generation. Don't miss out on uncovering the timeless allure of gold and silver! 🌟 #Gold #Silver #Investing #PreciousMetals

I love this beautiful outdoor set up! I appreciate your laid back views, they really agree and resonate with my own views.
Silver is still cheap! I would love to buy more, however my wife says no! It's very frustrating living in a democratic relationship 😂😂
I started because I thought I could get rich quick, but I have kept going because I am far better at saving in gold and silver than I ever was at saving in cash. I have far more motivation to make sacrifices for something tangible like a gold coin or a silver bar than I do to increase the number of digits on my bank statement.
I'm the same. Cash savings can very very easily be spent. Selling the gold takes several deliberate steps, gives one time to reflect and stop.
Good stuff!
Yer I agree it also feels like you’re spending money which obviously we all enjoyed, really we are just exchanging our money into another currency , like you said, which which takes several steps to liquidate, so I hardly recommend anyone who is a regular saving to just regularly buy gold
you may want to stack platinum if you want to get rich...in the not too far future i can see it only going up!
@@matthewparkin4791 have to pay vat if you buy it new tho ,
Hey BYB
Greetings from Denver, Colorado,USA
Love the Silver Forum Bar!
Thanks my friend!
Another great video and as always most interesting. The length of your videos are perfect...a certain bullion you tuber's videos are WAY to lengthy, always between 40mins to 55mins, hence why I got out of the basement! 🤭😅....
Glad you like them!
I could never save before silver and gold. Now I have something to show for all my hard work and if i don't need it then I can pass it down.
Love the Sovereigns, every day of the week 😍( but that Engelhard bar is beautiful, too 🙆♂️). Thanks for the ‘feel good’ video.
Glad you enjoyed it
So if we bought goldnor silver, if the time comes that we need money or we are skint, how do we sell it? I need to.understand this before I buy, as I really want to invest.
You should be able to sell it back to where you got it be that local or online and hopefully at a profit,if your only starting the prices might seem high but in 6 weeks, months or years those first purchases will fell like a great deal this istnt a get rich quick scheme as the price of metals can be up and down ive been at this 16 months and i love it the stack is growing and a great community on you tube of stacking channels to subscribe to..
@@royharris7135 thank you for your kind reply x
I loved this video, thank you.
Very peaceful and relaxing great eye candy 😍
Thanks for sharing!!
For the mint produced stuff, it's 10oz Valiant for me, BYB. But, I very much hope to win the TSF giveaway and become the owner of your lovely hand poured bar! 🙂
I actually like the little 100 g Swiss bar. 😎
I love your video’s dude I often turn to them for a bit of calming companionship after work 👍👍👍
Great content too 🎉win win
Youre too kind, thank you!
Love those SOVS... And great, chilled out video🤟
Great video BYB. Love the setting and the idyllic background sounds 😊
I love the sovereigns but my favourite piece, besides your own bar of course 😁, is the Engelhard bar! 👌🏽
Thanks so much! 😊
the gold bar is my favourite item on the table
My main reason to save gold is because I want to save money without its value evaporating.
However, now that gold spot price has risen so much, I think it's not the right time right now to buy.
Don't let these price increases get to your head because of FOMO and impulse buy.
Gold will always become more expensive eventually due to inflation, but always only buy after it has dropped in price a bit; it will give you a little head start on building up some savings!
Patience is key when it comes to saving money and slow assets like gold in particular.
Silver OTOH is a completely different story because of its higher volatility... which I use for shorter term profits.
I buy/sell mostly based on gold to silver ratio. Sometimes at a loss, sometimes for a profit. Averaged out, that strategy makes me more profits than losses so far.
I don't do coins with collector value though, all based on gold/silver spot prices... so my stack is mostly a mix of various sizes bars (except for those smallest ones) because those have the lowest premiums over here.
Great Video as always!
I have a real soft spot for the 100g Metalor bars, every time I place an order for Gold I always add a couple of them, they are just so cute!
Thanks for your interesting back story. I’m going to use it as inspiration to start a small money & metals channel myself. Of the pieces on your table, I quite like the one ounce gold bar with the 4 beasts of the UK (top left hand side of the video). I’ve admired that one a few times in your videos.
I live in the EU and stacking isn’t really that big here I think. I don’t have much but I love playing with the shiney stuff. But I realised that my bank account just doesn’t do anything for my cash. So, yes I have a bit of stock and crypto but I just enjoy seeing it and holding my little hoard. It’s like being a kid buying big toys. Besides a nice fancy car will cost money and depreciate massively, but these I can sell later on and, hopefully, it’ll still have the same buying power then.
Backyard Bullion in the backyard!
I can't think of a reason not to stock bullion. It's a hedge against inflation. Mine will see the grand kids through Uni in about 15 years time.
You probably wont sale any of your stack
😍😍🤩🤩 keep stacking
Gold Bar is lovely
Really like the Heraeus bar 👌
Buying gold in particular does bring out the magpie in us humans.
It certainly does!
Awesome channel BYB.
I like the sovereigns
Who doesn't! They're amazing!
I buy silver and gold for the same reason to save money for the future and my favorite on your table is that nice big fat round
Good to know!
11:12 your silver forum bar for me. I stack/collect for savings and the love of the shiny precious metal.
Awesome, thanks man!
Always good to get a history.
Thanks!
i do it because its the safest bet in pyshical form and do like a bit of silver and gold/ online stuff u dont have in hand if things go wrong
Great to hear your thoughts!
Great video BYB enjoyed it
Glad you enjoyed!
Thank you for another video
Our pleasure!
all of them
Thanks!
Full admiration for changing careers and working for yourself.
As for collecting, I'd started scatter gun approach, buying bullion, then migrating towards proofs, then graded proofs and finally perfect PF70 proofs.
My favourite piece on the table is your hand poured, hammered bar. This and others from your hands are true works of art!
Started just to preserve wealth. Love to do it. Long-term goals are the main point. Love your videos
Wonderful!
