Most of the 3D visualizers were shifting to Lumion because of Free 3D models and map textures. Vray tried to step up and compete otherwise both of them with Corona render will be become obsolete. But they need to step up more, to compete as well in animation, etc.
Lmao. Only kids are obsessed with Lumion. There isnt a future where Vray or Corona is obsolete. Whole archviz industry is built around Vray and Corona and you say Lumion lol.
@@ferhatgocer2928 You said lumion was just for kids, that was I am thinking 10 years ago, being complacent with Vray. Kids are the next generation. Soon you will gonna present some of your best Archviz rendering, while the kids where working with in animation already. Try with your Vray animating and rendering still view of an Island Resort project with ocean and sea shore waves let see long will take you, days??. Laugh now and those kids will have their last laugh in their generation to come.
If the model is downloaded you can drag and drop it from the browser to the scene and it will be aligned to the face you drop it on. The biggest issue is that it's not set up for network rendering if you need your assets and maps on a shared network drive. You can get around it by importing the proxy mesh into the scene and manually copying the texture maps to the network and then remapping the materials. If you always need to do that you lose the browser functionality. Still a very cool feature but needs some work yet.
Hmm.. I haven't test it but I'm sure they will try to improve it in the future so I agree that this is a cool feature but still needs more improvements to be helpful for the projects. However, I'm sure many artists (especially during the learning process) can benefit a lot from this :)
Since when you working with V-Ray again? As I remember in your older videos you said you changed to Corona from V-ray.

Hi, in a more basic way, do you know why, after i downloaded the 3D model, it is impossible to select it, or to see it in the 4 views, but i see it in the rendering?

Does it work with corona?
If the corona is cold then everything works.
Any word on this coming for corona?
I haven't heard anything about this but I can imagine they can update with something similar in the future ;)
I thought this would be a simple drag and drop feature.
Maybe in the future but I'm not sure if this is their idea ;) Anyway, it's not bad because you save time on collecting, linking all assets. If you purchase from the website, you still need to download so it's quite handy not to worry about segregating assets and then linking maps in a personal library. Plus, you only need to do once so not a big deal in my opinion :)
