The raid renown is sick, a dinar at 10+20 would make more sense to me though. I got spymaster's 12 weeks after raid launch, and it felt late but not *too* late. If I could've bought it at week 10 that would've felt nice but not too soon either. All the changes for 11.1 seem to be very positive right now, hope they follow up on it all. But I feel the key depletion should be the other way around, and slightly different. It should be that keys below +11 don't deplete, and once you are 2800 keys over +11 don't deplete either. The depletion is most annoying in the low key range, especially early in the season when it can hinder progression way too much
i still dont have heroic spymasters on my 637 main, still using a champions version I got from a vault unlock early into the season, diner is just necessary for classes where trinkets like spymasters is mandatory
One of the problems I see with removing key depletion is that it would make the meta-focused community even more meta focused. Currently if you're playing a dps spec that isn't usually invited to keys, one thing you can do is push your own key up and list it. You're bringing your 10 key to the group as value. If 10 keys never depleted, then once a meta-class player has a 10 key they never have any reason to invite anyone who isn't also a meta-class. That off-meta class can still push up their key, but if everyone has 10 keys and they never deplete they would have no reason to play with off-meta classes since they could just make their own group. Additionally, tanks and healers (who are already in high demand and short supply) would have their pick of players. As a tank, once I get a 10 key I can just retry it over and over and only invite the best meta dps classes. What incentive would I ever have to join someone else's group if my key never depletes? I'm not saying there are no benefits to keys not depleting. Particularly for 5-man groups of friends pushing together it would be great imo. but this is just one of many concerns I would have about unintended consequences, especially to the lfg dynamic. Personally I'm of the opinion that they should try it for a season and see what happens. If it's awful they can go back, if everyone likes it, keep it. But I don't think it's a clear slam-dunk.
@@Arcticp75 I agree, I think 3 charges before depletion at every key level would’ve been the way forward. They didn’t even really fix the issue, keys over 12 don’t deplete and keys under 12 only stop depleting once you’re 2850. Literally nothing has been fixed

For keys? Why? You can just farm any item from m+ without any problem. From raid, you have 1 shot / week basically on the actual difficulty. Farming items from raid is much harder than lets say, doing 10 m+ run for one trinket. No reason for them to make it. M+ is repetable while raid is technically not, because you have to wait one full reset to try again
@MrJawsheewah unlucky what can i say. But as I said, its still repetable. You can do 40 grim/day if u have time. While u can kill that specific raid boss once a week. So still no point to put a dinar for keys.
Any MATH’ers that could make a quick math on the Aug change? The pure damage part of it (I know there is much more to it but): 25% to 2 ”regular” DPS - DPS buff for Tank+Heal
Highly doubt the meta achievement thing will change how guilds do splits. Yeah you get tier easier, but guilds will still do splits for bis gear. Like trinkets and stuff. For Sure
Finally, blizzard listened!!! Only took an expansion and a season to finally change aug. People have been literally talking about the reason aug was brought to high high keys because they brought power to tanks and healers allowing for more survivability which lead to higher keys being timed. Once mid/max aug allowed everyone to push passed now there will be no more mandatory reason to bring them other then any other dps other then for dps, since you know it's technically categorized as a dps...now maybe devo might come back from the trash been since they are both dps contributors now.

If you ask me, they should just make Aug a full dps support, remove all the defensive support and just go all in on dps support and then if the Bard comes, make the bard the utility/defensive support with no dps support... Let Aug lean full in to supporting dps, I even think with that, let the Aug be the literal best dps when it comes to the amount of overall dps it contributes, cause to me, if a support doesn't supply more dps than just bringing another dps, what's the point, and since you remove their defensive support and utility, they can really just lean in to super charging their dps mates.
The dinars coming in that late makes them basically useless. You need to play for over 4 months to get them if it's 1 renown per week. It's ultimatly just catchup for people who join in the last weeks to play season 3.

As someone who likes dev a lot, I don’t think it’ll ever be especially good unless its numbers get massively buffed. It’s just ok at a lot of different things, with its only real niche being multi target priority which is pretty uncommon in m+. There’s just no reason for it to be powerful aside from being overturned.
@@Catxukluth ”I don’t think dev will ever be especially good unless they make it especially good” what do you even mean? People said the same about enhance and frost dk, reality is every spec gets time in the meta it’s just some get more and some get less and sometimes you have to wait. Every spec has a certain niche, the only reason any spec is ever meta is because it’s overbuffed. Dev actually has everything, uncapped aoe in bombardments, consume flame and pyre. Huge ST and cleave with mass disintegrate and eternity surge. If you’re trying to say you don’t think it’ll be meta any time soon I’d probably agree, but nerfing Aug like this definitely opens up the possibility and they could do it if they wanted to. Just like they could with any spec. People say it’s bad for no reason, it’s a bit strange. It’s not really squishy anymore, it has great mobility and it has 90% of Aug’s utility which will become 98% when Aug gets nerfed. The damage is great after the buffs this week, it was always a top performer in raid in DF lol
Yikes. Idk man. Jaded at this point to be fair, but ya none of this sounds groundbreaking to me. It’s always just more systems on top of systems, oh cut a currency here, add a currency there, reskin some old gearing system to make it seem fresh, and on and on and on. Aug is going to be OP until more support classes are introduced allowing the composition curve to flatten out a bit. Not sure why all this time and effort is being spent to “flavorize” raid, whilst the resounding complaint in the community right now is that of mythic plus being more out of tune than Hellen Keller’s glass didgeridoo. Not to mention vice gripped in the depths of meta comp purgatory.
increasing the number of supp specs wont fix the problem at all. balancing aug in a way that it doesnt buff defensive power is a way to not make it mandatory in high keys. more supp specs = more problems. 1 support spec will be superior to other supp specs and hardlocked in the meta. please think about that as a whole and not with half a brain missing.
@@sinnis4993 augmentation evoker dominates every meta group comp since they were implemented. There are currently five slots in a mythic+ group. One tank, two dps, one support, and one healer. In the tank, dps, and healer slots, we have many options to choose from. In the support slot, we have one option to choose from. The support slot isn’t going to just disappear after this much time has been spent on it. With one support slot in mythic plus groups, and only one support class available to play, that one support class is always going to be the best choice, because it is the only option. I find this pretty easy to understand, even with half a brain.
@@metalhead375 but...aug isnt a support spec. its a dps spec. blizzard would have to fundamentally change the game in order to make the support role work. and this nerf proves that blizzard isnt willing to do so. i explained to you in detail why support specs wont work. the moment 1 support spec buffs defensives, its hardlocked meta. no amount of different support specs will change that. its a flawed system.

AUG NERFED!! DEV BUFFED!! DEV IS GONNA BE META AND YOU'LL ALL HAVE TO PLAY IT!!!!!
lets pray that this will be a dev season. you guys truly deserve it!
@@Catxukluthdev has to be overtuned as fuck. It is just a bad spec for m+. Thinking if aug gets nerfed they will be picked......hahahahahahaha
@@liamdavies2823nerfing aug is just removing evoker from groups. Others classes fit m+ better.
Yikes.
Ok good, now remove the timer from M+ and the game is awesome.
Remove timer on keys would cause extremely degenerate play, where you at best wait for cds, or wait for bl each pack, please don't.
In lower keys sure, but 10+ can't be without timer
why do you want to ruin M+ for a huge part of the community? you got delves as a endgame small group/solo activity without timer.
@@Max-9871now if only delves were actually rewarding
