Arguably the only thing missing was an elite QB. Dorsey was a good college QB. Clearly a smart guy if he can be an OC in the NFL, but just wasn't mega elite (even though he was a Heisman finalist)

Miami played against 27 players drafted in 2002. LSU played against 54 guys drafted in 2020. They looked better because they didn’t play as many good teams/players.

@@Ballinbmac some of them would adapt but not all of them. Also targeting is at the refs discretion it’s a bunch of times where I thought a hit was clean but guess what if the ref calls targeting, they review it and the call stands it’s nothing we can do at that point.

We had one of the hardest schedules in the history of college football and they not talking bout that though. We beat one of the best teams in bama history at the house. And we blew out the next 2 best teams by three possessions in the playoffs.
