I enjoy chaap just because it's cruelty free. But these things must be taken moderately because of too much oil and spices.
It was available in a veg restaurant and the owner asked me to try once. That's how I got a taste of it. If it were meat then I would have repulsed from its smell.

First time feeling unlucky not staying in Delhi. Way of preparation is awesome. I m vegetarian. I like masala oily food. Cooking process z pure traditional. That z the main attraction for me . Chicken looking is not important for me but masala well cooked in coal , that would had make the dish outstanding

Went to this place and tasted the dish. But it was poles apart from what it was shown in the video.
I will highlight the diff:
1. It was not served in pot. It was served in regular cutlery.
2. It was not hot, had to ask for it.
4. It was not cooked as it is shown. Probably the gravy and soya chaap were done separately and then added. So it became just like masala soya chaap and there was nothing extraordinary.
I had visited from far off place, so was disappointed. But I would mention one thing, the avg taste was good. The owner is humble and polite. Service offered was also good.
*Final verdict - The content shown in the video is nowhere when you visit the place.*

Appreciate the effort they put in to prepare this veg dish to give vegetarians a feel of non-veg dish. But this is not how handi chickens are cooked. Almost everything is cooked before it goes to the actual handi in this case.
Whereas, actual Handi chickens are cooked completely from the word "go" in the handi so that every bit of the stuffs put in, into the handi has the flavor of the spices infused in to it completely. Good job though.
