I've read plenty of comments on how cheating pranks are bad, and how yall should know your audience. First off, people viewing your content through their past traumas is on them, not yall. Secondly, instead of people getting upset about a prank gone bad, can we celebrate the awesome content and life lessons this one prank taught. Black women oftentimes are stereotyped as loud, aggressive & ghetto. There's also the stigma Black women will put up with anything from Black men. Destene showed ALL women, regardless of race, ethinicty, & socio & economic background, how to handle a cheating partner with class, and without losing self in the process. She didn't get loud, she asked that her personal space be respected, she established boundaries & she removed herself from a toxic situation. Even after being advised of the prank, Destene MAINTAINED her boundaries and expectations: "do not play with me about my relationship."
