Minimalist Dress Shoe - Carets Oxford Shoe Review

I've long since accepted that in the world of dress shoes, I'd probably have to accept that there wouldn't be a decent minimalist dress shoe. However, Carets recently contacted me about reviewing a pair of there shoes. It was a pleasant surprise. Here's my Carets oxford shoe review.
I've done a few shoe reviews on RUclips, but never for a dress shoe. I spent about a month in the shoes wearing them as much as I could with everything shut down. They're very comfortable with a wide toe box. They break in quickly and are made with nice leather. The only thing I could find to nit-pick on was that they're long for size. However, I also understand that's what lets Carets maintain a dress shoe look.
Overall I was very happy with the Carets cap-toe oxford. It's now my go-to minimalist dress shoe!

An ergonomic application to a very classic cap-toed design! A monk strap and buckle variation would also look fantastic!

I know this is a few years old at this point, but discount code doesn't work anymore. Can you get them to refresh it?
Regarding the shoes, I ordered a pair and they were uncomfortably tight with the recommended size down. I didn't want to try them without insoles, so I returned them and trying my normal size, hoping they are not enormous. The ones I received previously were in a very nice box with shoe bags and shoe trees, and looked amazing. It's unfortunate I haven't been able to wear them yet but they look way better than any minimalist dress shoe on the market - very classic dress shoes without the heel and foot pinchingly tight fit.

It doesn’t have a heel. It’s made to look like it has a heel. The sole is flat
