  • This video is a recording of a LIVE webinar conducted by the Perron Institute for Neurological and Translational Science, which took place on Wednesday 17 June, 2020. It involved a discussion between Clinical Professor Allan Kermode, Head, Demyelinating Diseases Research and Consultant Neurologist at the Perron Institute, and local Perth media presenter, Tina Altieri regarding the latest multiple sclerosis (MS) research and treatments. Webinar viewers were given the opportunity to participate in participate in a Live Q&A and send in their questions to be answered. Professor Kermode is also Clinical Professor of Neurology at The University of Western Australia, and Head of the Department of Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. He sees patients with multiple sclerosis (MS), manages a research team investigating causes of MS, and is Professor of Immunology at the Institute for Immunology and Infectious Diseases (IIID) based at Murdoch University, where he also conducts MS clinics.
    This webinar is the first in a series of online events that will explore the innovative neurological research being conducted at the Perron Institute.
