- This video is a montage of Sharon Tate, Roman Polanski & the beach house they lived in when Roman was working on the movie Rosemary's Baby. The house is located on 1038 Palisades Beach Rd. in Santa Monica,California.
When Paramount contracted Roman Polanski to write and direct Rosemary's Baby, he and Sharon needed to find a home in Los Angeles. Through a friend, Sharon found a Norman-style mansion (1038 Palisades Beach Road) overlooking Santa Monica Beach. The house which was a short walk from the Santa Monica pier had been built in the 1920's by architect Paul Crawley for the actress Norma Talmadege. And its previous tenants included, Cary Grant and Randolph Scott, Barbara Hutton, Irving Berlin, Howard Hughes, as well as Princess Grace of Monaco.

I just think this is a lovely house & I can see why Sharon loved it so much so I wanted to make a video to show how the house looked then & how it looks now. I wish I had some pictures of the interior of the house but I just have exterior pictures.

Going there on Sharon’s 78th Birthday this year and seeing her window and leaving a yellow rose there and a cross for her. Driving up to the house and watching the sunset on the beach in front of her house. One of my most cherished moments and one of my best days. I will always love and honor and pray for Sharon and her Son and I will always fight for them in their memory with all of my heart. In Jesus Name. Amen.

In the blink of an eye it was all taken away. How fragile we are and how vulnerable to forces beyond our control. Sharon was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Fate is scary when you really think about what lies ahead. It's like wondering in a maze and never knowing what's around the next turn. Beauty and the "beast" met on that hot August night and lives changed forever.

I was only 9 years old when sharon was TAKEN away. But i always looked at her as so beautiful and classy , i wished i could be her , as a young girl this is what i thought , however sad her ending , know she was happy in this world f or a brief time , and so loved by many 🙏🕊💔

I know there’s been other gruesome tragic murders but I think what caught my attention the most with Sharon was that she was young, almost 9 months pregnant & her dream life had just began. Also , her beauty. She had a rare beauty.

Grazie per bellissimo video. Io ho avuto solo 5 anni quando e successa questa tragedia. Solo piu' tardi da adolescente ho visto solo un suo film con Polanski sui vampiri che mi e' piaciuto tanto come la bellezza di lei. E' molto piu' tardi ho saputo cosa le e' successo. Non solo che cosi' giovane in attesa che ha perso la vita, ma per il modo come lo ha peeso, era un orrendo e peggiore incubo perche' era anche in atesa del figlio. Tante persone belle e giovanni perdono le vite anche in questo modo pero' a noi tutti ci ha colpito perche' lei conoscevamo, era bellissima attrice e tutti la conoscevano come beavissima persona, per questo ci ha ferito profondamente perche' la consideravano la nostra, no una persona sconosciuta alla quale e' capitata questa orrenda fine inssieme ai suoi cari amici di cui uno era suo ex che le era legato profondamente e che anche ha provato disperatamente ed inutilmente di protegerla. Stimo molto la sua famiglia che ha combatuto e combate che quelle orende persone non escano mai dalle galere e di continuare di fare male ad altre persone. Una splendida famiglia che ci ha dato grande lezione come si puo' continuare a vivere con questo teribile fardello sull'anima.
