    New to the channel but I love the idea. More importantly, I was once involved in a start-up business that bootstrapped itself into existence by taking old PCs and parts and making them into systems for resale, exactly like this. It raised enough money to launch the business, which had nothing to do with computers. That was just how the starting money was raised. They are still in business and profitable almost 25 years later. From humble beginnings, great things can grow. I wish you that same kind of luck.

    I love the fact that you actually take the time and properly refurbish the used parts you buy. You likely gave that 1070 a few more years of operation alone by just cleaning it and re-pasting it. I wouldn't be opposed to selling you my old system when I get my new ITX build done.

    That's a killer deal on the original pc. Did you check the speed of the corsair vengeance RAM kit it had originally? I have some sticks of that stuff clocked at 2400 mhz, which is pretty crazy for DDR3, might be worth keeping in there (if it fits under the cpu cooler lol). Also, ive cleaned up some smoker gaming pcs as well and it takes forever to get the brown stains off parts, good job. Definitely worth the hassle if you can get a bargain

    • @ThePcRehab
      @ThePcRehab  Год назад

      Yeah it blows me away that people smoke next to there systems. But people are going to do what they want. That ram was 1666mhz so it’s not too special. But there was no way that ram was fitting under that size cooler lol

    Making the computers look good with those nice little "extras", like a good CPU cooler, cable extensions and LEDs and all that stuff, might cost a little bit more and might eat into the profits a little bit, but as someone who has bought, fixed up and flipped quite a few computers I know for a fact that "curb appeal" is super important.
    Good photos of the computer you're selling, too. A lot of sellers seem to take photos using a potato from 2007, which is not ideal when selling anything. Making a computer look nicer and taking good photos of it might not give you significantly more money in the end, but the thing will almost guaranteed generate a lot more clicks and views and it will most likely sell significantly faster.

    • @ThePcRehab
      @ThePcRehab  Год назад +1

      Sorry you don’t like the music. I find it relaxing to enjoy some music while watching a build come together and seeing as how the channel has 10.4k subscribers in 10 months I’d like to think I am not the only one. Take care man. Thank you for the comment

      Well seeing as how this system was able to play any game that is out right now I feel like your comment right here makes you come off as a bit foolish and possibly a little spoiled because there are plenty of people would love to have something like this. But thank you for taking the time out of your day to comment on the video

      Beware the "old junk car" that doesn't look modified at the dragstrip.
