Greetings. What you said in regards to XLM and 'disaster recovery' from a black swan makes sense. Pay attention to the theme of the Stellar commercials and you can clearly see the correlation. It has an almost dystopian feel. What are your thoughts? Just subscribed, I will stay tuned brother.
You are very knowledgeable my brother EXACTLY RIGHT. Stellar even said that the symbol change came for that exact reason that it should be look upon as a currency one day.
This is so good. You have taken us to another dimension of understanding. What picked my interest was that "black swan event". What 's your guess of what it could be?
I disagree with this. In my opinion Xlm will be the rails and underlying asset that nations CBDC is built and runs upon. People won’t be pricing goods and services in Xlm, people won’t even know that their nations digital currency utilizes Xlm rails. Just like no one knows the clearing houses used in the legacy banking system used today. Xrp is a liquidity provider and bride asset for institutions to transfer large value cross border. Xlm is peer to peer rails for CBDC’s to be built on.
Hey, I appreciate your disagreement-it’s always great to have different perspectives. That said, I think you might be missing the bigger picture here. It seems like you’re applying traditional thinking to a technology designed for a completely new world. Stellar was created as a DTC (Direct-to-Consumer) technology-think Lobster Wallet, for example. The idea is for everyone to know about Stellar and the Lobster Wallet eventually. These universal "X" technologies aim to "liberate" individuals from the constraints of their governments. In my opinion, Stellar (XLM) could eventually compete with national currencies as we move forward. I'm working on a video called "Borderlessness" where I'll dive deeper into my thoughts on this topic. Stay tuned!
Yes, I agree @YugeBags. There's no way the central-banking establishment will easily let citizens do direct peer-to-peer at retail and other transactions. If you go to a supermarket and scan your phone to pay XLM to the store, the central-bankers have been excluded. XLM, XRP and all distributed ledger tech is not bad; it's actually a tremendous opportunity for freedom. That's exactly why the CB establishment will be trying to force retail and point-of-sale to call-out to the CB infrastructure, and then the CB may settle to the XLM ledger. I think the plan will be that during a big crisis or collapse, governments will ensure that commercial banks will create a new CBDC account for customers, who will be issued with a CBDC card (or download an app). Then you go to the store, and scan your CBDC QR code to pay. So, the currency will be D-EUR, D-USD, D-Yuan, etc. CBDC may use XLM ledgers as a settlement. But just like forcing supermarkets to enforce mask mandates and other measures in 2020, it'll be the same thing: Governments (who are controlled by their CBs) will try to force retail to slip the CB point-of-sale and CB accounts into place.
Jed McCaleb, the founder of XLM was a "problem child" in the Ripple family and was ousted for his "different views and direction",....as the saying goes..if you want to go fast, go alone but if you want to go far, go together...that's why most of what I hold will always be XRP😄
Yes they issue 1b XRP every month. But they dont released into the market. It just moves from one Escrow to another. Also from the Sec Lawsuit we learnt that Ripple is a Big Buyer of XRP. So they buy it back.
Yes that is true!. The Point is Stellar was created to be a medium of exchange, its not like bitcoin that can never be increased. The mechanism to increase or decrease exists in stellar and stellar has people "Community" running it which means things can change. Until 2019 Stellar had a 1% inflation, meaning supply increased by 1% annually until the "Commnunity" chose to change that. The "Community" can make changes lol
Whilst somethings you said are accurate - Many of the things you speak of are very speculative and still very opinion based. They are BOTH assets and designed to be agnostic - Yes, granted with different purposes but it doesn’t make XRP more of an Asset than XLM. Good video but you still need to understand both technologies and what adoption alongside with regulations looks like for both assets… Before coming to these conclusions. 👍🏽
Sir you only tried to sound intelligent but couldn't provide for me the answer to the question you raised yourself. Since you saw the point I was expecting you to have the answer and share with us your wealth of observations. Sadly it was again one of those wacked approaches to making the content creator feel inadequate without either adding to the information or clarifying it. What a waste. Please whenever you feel knowledgeable try to resist the urge to make contribution when it's clear they don't have any added value to the house. Thank you.
@@Mastiffontyne😂😂😂 Your comment is a joke. You have made me laugh - you have made no rebuttal or added any beneficial insights to my comment. I have studied the white paper for Stellar and many other blockchains and I also have a masters in Blockchain and Financial Technologies. I think I sound more than intelligent with my contribution. Thank you for the humour you brought in your conclusion. 😂
Because of the mystery around it. When it comes to Value (price points) no one really knows, but imo see XLM becoming more popular than XRP. what do you think?

Better than XRP. Thanks.
It really is!
👍
so then how much will xlm be worth this bull run?
Cuba already has 2 currencies, and even 3 that it accepts and uses.
You are right!! the people of Cuba, Venezuela and Zimbabwer are better prepare mentally for the possible disruptions ahead of the global economy
On the LOBSTR WALLET you can earn plenty APY XLM.
Jed McCaleb, the founder of XLM was a "problem child" in the Ripple family and was ousted for his "different views and direction",....as the saying goes..if you want to go fast, go alone but if you want to go far, go together...that's why most of what I hold will always be XRP😄
I believe that's the narrative.. Will do a video about this topic in the future.. i have a different point of view
Danelle Dixon works for stellar
XRP is a distraction from people buying XLM. The reason why is because if he's saying is true XLM will be the one going to $10,000 instead of XRP
what do you mean? xrp is for bank transactions. xlm is for day to day transactions. they both seem equally valuable.
Xlm has worked with money gram for years .
Good video you also forgot to mention THST XRP issues one billion coins every 1st of month .. Thers 40 billion more to be dumped but XLM does not ..
How many does XLM issue?
Yes they issue 1b XRP every month. But they dont released into the market. It just moves from one Escrow to another. Also from the Sec Lawsuit we learnt that Ripple is a Big Buyer of XRP. So they buy it back.
Hold both of them 💼
But you must get OUT of America ✈️
Why do you say that? When and where?
Yesss I agree
So basically are you saying XLM can only reach 1.00?
Xlm does not issue any coins there’s 38 billion out there with supply of 50 billion only

Why do you say XLMis more interesting than XRP? Do you believe XLM will be more valuable than XRP?
