Ive done my research on this. Any vision built after 2013 come standard with allisons Economy mode enabled in the TCM with no way to disable it except the dealer. Personally i hate that they did this but it was supposed to help mileage. Limits the amount of power for take-off and gives lower shift points and lugs the engine horribly before it will downshift. I don't like driving the newer ones just for this reason. Sucks
Finally! Someone who knows buses like I do! I could not have said it any better myself. I hate it and there's no way it can be any better on fuel. You have to keep the damn thing floored to even move along and it lugs the engine so bad when it's loaded. I can't stand driving them either. Yet Internationals' software will enable the economy mode when it's under no stress, but when they're loaded they will hit the governor and take off like an old bus. Anytime I drive one of these, I will manually shift it when I feel necessary.
Yeah, I had to take our 6 2014s back to the dealership for hood repainting this past summer and driving them was not a fun experience. Our 2018s arent as bad but theyre still bad lol.
These things suck ass. On these new visions The Engine sounds like it's knocking. I thought my Cummins CE was slow... not compared to these. Lmao. Plus these things don't look that good on the outside either. Lol
best camara spot ever for a school bus. I love that view.
Me 2 I wanna see a 2006 Bluebird Vision CAT C7 with this camera angle
Thats a nice vision right there.
This exact bus was in Clarksdale Mississippi for a Drill meet today
My school district have 11 vision. 1 diesel and 10 propane!
I ride a 2017 bluebird vision in First Student once and their 2017 visions are Propane powerd

This explains why the newer ones rev up high then super low on acceleration right
@@AJDeere Yes that economy mode needs to be disabled by the Allison dealer.
Of course, this is not true for alternative fuels like gasoline and propane, because they have Ford transmissions.
I enjoy the video. Can you upload some buses in Atlanta and Macon Georgia?
