    If you have one sample of 100 bulbs, how can u use a distribution of many "sample means", which i assume means you have multiple samples and find the mean etc, but here you just have one?

      The distribution of sample means is what you would expect the sample means from a normally distributed population with given mu, sigma and n to look like. We randomly select 100 lightbulbs and calculate the mean and then determine whether this is unusual enough based on the model we’re using
