A world tour isn't a world tour if it doesn't include South America. And a world tour in South America isn't a world tour in South America if it doesn't include dates in Argentina. waiting for more international tour dates.

it's a good decision to continue with the name ROXETTE but it would have been a great idea to get a known singer to fill MARIE'S shoes... we don't know who LENA is

I’m from Sweden and know who Lena is, I can most certainly assure you she’s gonna kick ass as the replacement of Marie.

Lena Philipson is actually the only swedish singer that would fit into the place Marie had in Roxette. Lena has been one of the biggest, most famous vocalists/singers in Sweden, all since her debut in the swedish Eurovision in 1986, yes the very same year Roxette released their debut album "Pearls of Passion". She has had many hit songs on the swedish charts through the past four decades and she is very popular here in Sweden.
I was a bit sceptical to Per when he, last year, began talking about "a tour with Roxette", despite the loss of Marie, but today when we know who will replace Marie I believe it will be a big success. I'm sure Marie is smiling and agree with Per, in her heaven. 👍🥳🎉

You have no clue, have you. Marie never sang on any demos with Per. He is Roxette and Marie was his singer albeit a great one and I think he should have chosen another name out of respect. However, AC/DC did not change their name either and Brian Johnson never wrote a song. He is just the singer.

Brian Johnson wrote a lot of the lyrics for AC/DC for their albums from 1980 until 1988 (ie from "Back in Black" up until "Blow up Your Video").

No, Roxette was Marie Fredriksson and Per Gessle. They just had different roles. It was a 50-50 thing. However, Marie was the most conspicuous member of the duo.

@@alejandromanniello4969 Well, we can argue about that... But!
Mind you, there's an important fact that has to be stated that actually proves your opponent to be somewhat correct:
Per Gessle's swedish band "Gyllene Tider" released their fourth and last studioalbum in February 1984, named "Heartland Café". Their first album with only english lyrics. That album got shortened with just six tracks and renamed to "Heartland" and released in the USA later in 1984.
But the band neither called themselves "Gyllene Tider" nor "Golden Times", on that US-version of their last album, but instead... Roxette!
Yes, the mini-album "Heartland", with six tracks, by Roxette was released in US late 1984 with Per Gessle, Micke Syd Andersson, Anders Herrlin, Göran Fritzon, Mats Persson and in the choir...
      ... Anne-Lie Rydé and... Marie Fredriksson! 😁

    Roxette ended when Marie left.
I believe it's Per's obsession with roxette, and a way of denying reality, I believe he could form another band with his talent as a writer.
It's really very strange to have Lena in Marie's place, it's almost a lack of respect rather than a tribute, it's self-centered, nothing lasts forever. They should use Roxette's name as leverage, that's depressing
    Replacing blonde with brunette
    It's a bad joke!!!
