I’ve got a snap on one it’s quite good for driveshaft oil seals etc but you have to be very careful or it can damage the inner casing by scratching or gouging it!

i had the old orange handle one from harbor freight tools and it was a piece of garbage. the first time i used it the hook bent. i unbent it and then the shaft snapped in half. i like harbor freight but sometimes you get what you pay for.
I just use whatever slipjoint is in my pocket to cut open any kind of packing I have to deal with, but I guess it requires proper technique so I can understand using an electric cutter lie that skill.
I actually just bought one of these seal pullers 2 days ago it's the OTC seal puller but it is exactly the same one..👍 The OTC one is oxide coated and came with a couple extra screws
At least pull out a seal in the video.

Bought 1 of these seal pullers from harbor freight & it worked great pulling transmission seal out it's worth buying

i always did the old school way, with a screwdriver and a hammer, but i’m interested in trying new stuff, i’m always open

So, I just watched a review of a seal puller that you didn't actually use to pull a seal. I'll never get that time back.

I just get a punch and hammer it out, most the time I can re-use the seal that way.

The wheel seal on a 36,000lb axle would laugh at that puller . Definitely a small seal (automotive) puller .
