Echoes of The Damned is as good as the Damned and Damned 25AE. Damned 4 sounds like someone’s last stand and Damned 3 sounds like a world of dust and echoes
BO1: Simple, raw, straight to the point, like the mode itself was BO2: tech vibe to match the year where the game is set BO3: epic orchestral piece matching the cosmic horror the was being set BO4: written so it can feel like it's broken, with it's pieces kinda scattered around, as if it was broken too with the breaking of the cycle CW: It's a new song, because it's a new universe, but the main piece still plays at the end, because there are still "echoes of the damned" from the old universe Vanguard: monsters growning in the beginning, as the dark aether awakens. The violins give such a classic vibe to match the ww2 setting, but cuts to almost a imperial march, as if kortifex's army is rising

there ALL the best, I loved bo1 because it was the original and the start of the journey, I loved BO2s Damned because it shows a broken world, I loved BO3s Damned because it was so sad and shows how the 4 characters had to ultimately kill there younger selves to save themselves, BO4 Damned was so loved because it shows the depressing and unavoidable loss of our characters, Echos of the damned was so good because it is a new chapter and beginning and lastly Damned 5 is so good because... well we will find out

i love this version of damned, it feels haunting and oppressive, it’s very thematically appropriate despite the actual game being unable to truly capitalise off its setting
I find it amazing how in the beginning it was stereotypes of different cultures fighting against undead in an arcade shooting game... Now its turned into something about interdimensional demons, the occult and elder gods
This is my 2nd favorite damned. Number 1 is still damned 3. But at 1:39 to 2:30 is such a awesome section. With the exhaling in the background and that going into a mixture of everything you’ve heard in the song is so freaking great.
Cold War did NOT have good gameplay. Health Cap, bad point system, unlimited ammo wonder weapons, 5 hit down without jug, armour, 600 hour reset, no Offline on PC, field upgrades. Come on man.

You can literally sit on the roof with a raygun until your game crashes, or on the most recent patch you can spam a noob tube at your feet. I know their damage to the player increases, I also know that it barely matters because you're still invincible as long as you don't fall asleep while playing. Also real talk wtf are you doing using the BO1 Progression argument to justify Cold War, which doesn't have the same progression? Do you not have Instas on bo1 or a 255 on BO3/4/CW ???
This for me (despite Vanguard Zombies off to a rocky start) has found it's way to becoming my second favorite Damned with the nice melody to fit the supernatural setup. Second to Damned 3 in my opinion
