another song for the cover band. I swear the members of the hip have no idea whether they are pushing beats or not. link to isolated bass: • ISOLATED BASS TRACK fo...
@@stevebadachmusic must be hard to keep memory of all the fills when you’ve got such vast archive of covers😬 I would end up playing other songs with the same key lol
i think it's now a very canadian thing to say you're "over" the hip, but i still enjoy playing their songs. Mourning Wood plays several. This one, locked in the trunk of a car, 50 mission cap, new orleans is sinking, bobcageon, music at work.
@@stevebadachmusic i don't mind the musicality, but i bought that new orleans album and i can rightfully say, i have never really liked them. its that thing about canadian bands i mentioned. how blues just seeps in and i'm like, no thanks lol. always always always more enjoyable to play though. they love hanging out on the open E and i can't complain with that. you know, very superstitious lol just play E/Eb on one and you're good. there's something about A/Ab major scale that people can't resist. I was writing rock and its just good. power chords sound so tough. the exception being drop D/Db. there's a feeling there for sure.
@@stuart6478 It's kind of like how I can't f$$$ing STAND "country music" but it's entertaining to play. I almost feel like a charlatan onstage because certain people go batshit when we play a country song, and I never bothered rehearsing it even once. As for the Hip, though, it actually annoys me when an American says he DOES like them.
The cover band has quite the set list! You must be excited to get back on the stage. Sounds great man
yes. I am looking forward to playing again. the cover band has a lot of songs. we never play the same set twice.

a lot of the songs I don't play note for note, just to save my brain from a little bit of melting.
Killer band, killer song!!🇨🇦
agreed!
thanks man I had to learn this for a jam tomorrow, now 226am :) it happened to be your vid, good shit man, cheers
awesome. you came to the right place! I try to get all my covers as accurate as possible.
One of the only ones on youtube, very nice!
cheers!
Great playing. I was playing some old stuff off the road apples tonight that song and three pistols.
thanks brother. Three Pistols is one I really need to learn
another one for the E to shine
you can get so much done with just one or two strings
@@stevebadachmusic hahah I can tell

Almost a one string song. 😄
so close! I'd start a "songs on 2 strings" playlist, but there would already be hundreds of songs to add.
