Ive seen alot of misconceptions when it comes to cross teaming, there is no specific definition. To point to but If I had to guess it means going out of ur way to help another team acheive Victory. So... You can actually work with and not attack and kill other teams for example you could technically trade resources. And what not build bases together as long as your not TEAMING, up against another team. Yea yeah its shady defenitly but ive seen alot of RUclipsrs saying "thats cross teaming" when they are only not fighting eachother. Only reason im saying this is to spark a discussion and this is the only place with alot of people to talk about it.
