Loved this mini dive into The Boyz! I had only recently come across them in my kpop journey when I watched their Watch It MV. I was captured by them and wanted to see more, but hadn't had a chance yet. Usually I prefer dance practices because they reliably show skills and performance quality, but the Watch It MV was sooo good in fusing the intensity and meaning of their visuals and lyrics, with their individual personalities, styles, vibes that just pop off the screen while at the same time working as a cohesive unit in the scenes where they are all present. I had that on replay for quite a while. Now I need to expand my The Boyz viewing. Sigh...who needs sleep.
I can't believe this comeback was already almost a year ago... Time flies soooo fast. I knew of them before but this song made me become a fan, and in your chat someone mentioned two canadian members. Their names are Bae Jacob and Moon Kevin, and lemme tell you something Khadija, mister Moon kevin made me his bitch. Like, there's more to him, and the amount of underrated members in this group is baffling. You'd think that with the amount of members there are, the units and combinations and opportunities for new stuff would be endless but uhm, their company always puts the same members to the forefront and it's kinda tiring. Just, yeah, watch, juyeon, q, hyunjae, sunwoo, they're great, but Jacob? Kevin? Their leader, Sangyeon? Haknyeon? The rest, they're all worth it in their own right!!! Just watch one fancam of kevin from this comeback and you'll fall in love with his stage presence, and the man's got personality as well. First off, he's in the BeyHive (taste, I say!), and second he cracks the best jokes ever!!! Anyways, I'm done torturing you now, but uhm, do make sure that you have time to get into them cause they're a lot!! Of everything! Just a lot!
