A great project for the beginning woodworker. We show how to make a simple box that can be used for all sorts of things. Ours is modified and turn into a donation box.
Greetings, My son is working on an eagle project for Boy Scouts, and he needs to build a donation box for a dog rescue center. Can you please give me the dimensions on the donation box you built please? Mike
I just used scrap wood for this so I don't have actual plans. Just make sure you can get 4 pieces the same size. I think I was shooting for around 12" pieces
@8:30...so you didn't have to prestain? I would just be nervous that after the build effort, I'd regret not conditioning before applying the stain. Especially with the trim.
This is why this is my go to stain. It’s B A C wiping stain by Sherwin Williams. You won’t find it on the shelves, it’s kept in the back. Great for stain matching too.
Nice
Thanks!
