Kierens vechile Channel Yes, funny enough I was just doing the depot video at the time, and thought I would include it coming in with the buses. It was OPTARE solo YJ08XBO it had just returned from a New Engine Refit and New Gearbox. But the Gearbox blew up in town on its first day of service and had to be towed back yo the depot.

Normally the Alison's are brilliant when yj11ejns gearbox went it leak at least 5 times and got stuck in our tiny yard coming up range inhibited but took transmission oil and she fired up and worked fine

Why does arriva not use there personal recovery

Kierens vechile Channel I use to think Allison's transmission was good but the amount of solos at our depot needing new Gearboxes is appauling. The one that was towed in this video is on its fourth Gearbox now.

Kierens vechile Channel They use to have their own, but for some reason they use Ian Bradley instead, I suppose its less space in their depot.

Kieran He He, yes this is the second time this bus has been towed back to the Depot in under a year. The first time it was towed back because of a blown starter motor, the second time because of a blown Gearbox.

There were obviously no customer standards set when Arriva got the bus contract in Darlington the busses are cheap and nasty and most of the time have no air-conditioning , at least here in Western Australia the public had a big say in what the busses were to have long before the privateers arrived thumb down Arriva
