there wont be 500 million copies sold, at least not for a WHILE. GTA V sold 190 mill over the course of 10 years. I dont doubt GTA 6 will sell over 200 mill eventually, but 500 mill is a ludicrous number.
Isn't the game awards on the 7th of December. Could be the 1st with a teaser trialer and full trialer at the awards

Just for money's sake, buy the new xbox series S, the updated one with 1tb of storage. but NOT the series X. Both have a similar feel, overall it's not worth it because the series x has performance issues/bugs. The playstation is a lot smoother, but sucks because of Sony's whole process to add games to their store, and PS plus is awful.

@@Joss1 My local resource center has both a PS5 and the Series x. The PS5 feels better, but the series X has a lot more games, an you don't need live to play them.

Wait...so you look at GTA V easily one of the biggest games of the year it came out with multiple period of player spikes, and say: in ten years it sold over 100 million copies...and somehow think that means GTA VI will sell 5 times as many!?
You already know EXACTLY what is going to happen with GTA 6: the majority of people who are going to play it are people who cut their teeth playing 5 as their first big game of that style/calibur. I have been playing GTA games as they launch since Vice City came out, and there is one thing you can always count on with GTA fans: theyll never be satisfied. Add to the fact that even the most solid games get review bombed now 6 simply cant live up to the GTA 5 fans for the same reason Andromeda will never live up to mass effect fans, or even RDR2 will never live up to the first: nostalgia. So much of what people love about games isnt even the games themselves, its the nostalgia that the games bring. Making them feel younger, simplier, reflects memories and times connected to playing that game. And that simply cant be replicated unless they literally make the exact same game with minor tweaks, and is a huge part of why people just wont look at a game like this for what it is. Dark Souls 1 was amazing, 2 came out and split fans, 3 went right back to the old formula and boom. Not to mention, if companies even try for one second to make their games even remotely close to real life, it gets thrashed for being "woke garbage." Leaving aside the fact that woke doesnt mean, fair representation of the world, if you have a female protagonist that isnt half naked slut bag, with bog boobs and jiggle physics on her butt cheeks: woke trash. 13% of the population is black, but put a black dude that isnt acting like a stereotype: woke trash. I literally saw somebody trash a game as woke for having a blind person.
Gay person thats not a stereotype: trash. TERF lady creates a world with racism, and phobias built in, game ads a trans character: trash. Ill add its only trash for honky incels twitch streaming from the basement, but theyre the loudest. The black girl who picks up a game and sees herself portrayed doesnt whine, or the gay kid, or the black dude who isnt a stereotype and is sick of not identifying with anyone in media because they all are. By all rights RDR2 online should be the most epic fun shit ever, and its just meh. The base game is gorgeous, but compared to 1 it was meh.
