Not for me. But I think you might be right that he gets the armband.
I do think he leads by example but he's not vocal enough for me. But if he does get the captaincy then I will put my faith and trust that decision.
However, i would like to see us sign a real leader as I think we lacked that last season and at present we still do now in the current squad.

@@richardpincher8936while I think your right about signing a real leader the problem is I believe a new signing should never be given the armband I think Bielik does have the capacity for the armband and could thrive with it
@danieldawes1776 I personally disagree, but i do respect your point. However, the squad is going to look very different to that of last season and with a new man at the helm, so brining in a new captain isn't a problem for me. However, it needs to be done soon. So it's looking highly unlikely we will have a captain outside of the current group of players.
I do agree with the points you make about Bielik, though, and maybe with the responsibility of the captain, he will become more vocal. I do think a vocal captain is really important, vocal in the right way, of course. A good communicator. I have not seen enough of a communicator in Bielik's game, but character I do.
If I'm 100%, his lack of pace concerns me a lot, so if he plays CB, which I think he will, Sanderson really needs to step his game up if that's the CB partnership.
It will be interesting to see who gets the armband today, but I do 100% agree with you that out of the current crop, Bielik is the man for the job.

Great interview and I love the honesty. Acknowledges that a lot of the players don’t want to be playing L1 but hopefully seems like he is encouraging them all as much as he can to stay and get us back from the mess that they got us into. That isn’t a dig either, I hope the players recognise it and have the same attitude as Bielik because they will all be loved if they right this wrong.

This is superb news. Well done to Bielik for accepting the challenge and well done to Blues for appointing Chris Davies. I am sure that Blues are paying him very well, but money aside, if he didn't believe in what Davies is doing he would not have signed this contract.

What fantastic news. At his best he is far too good for this league. I think his best position is centre back, but will do a great job in midfield.
Faithful players are rare nowadays, this warms the heart. A good faithful team player.
Blues fans should really honour this good man.

Alex Cochrane is a Donkey with 2 goals & 3 assists in each of his last 3 seasons with Hearts in the SPL compared to the attacking capabilities of Harrison Burrows who apart from his 30 goal contributions last season with Peterborough, he has another 6 goals scored in attack from midfield positions!👀. 🏴KRO!
