Nice. Grew up up not too far from that park in Bountiful. Always wanted to play there.
Friggin fantastic...come sail away sounded amazing. love the cars stuff. great job Rich and boyz
Thanks!
Good evening (our time), very nice presentation and live performance. Greetings Pavel CZ.👍👍👍
Thanks!
oh shit...GREAT BAND!!!
Enjoyed this vlog and as a guy aged 70 and still gigging it's always interesting to hear how you use your gear. Greetings from the county of Lancashire in England!
Cool, thanks David!
For distorted in ears… It matters whether your in ear receives line level or instrument level… If you’re having an overdriven sound in your ears, make sure that the Sound Guy turns down the master volume on your ear channel to -18db -20 db.
You can also see if there is a switch on your in ear receiver, where you can switch between line level or instrument level.
Yeah, the second night I had the ears dial in. Thanks!
I spent the whole week looking for a video like this, I wanted to hear a Tonex performing live.
Good video and excellent guitar sound
Thanks, glad I could make this video for you!
Hell yeah Rich. Love the gig vlogs.
Thanks!
Best intro EVER! 😂 So awesome!
There’s NO way you could have done that gig without shade here in Arkansas. I’m a little jealous of your Summers.
We're lucky it's been a bit mild this year
Great vid, Rich. Love the Gig Vlogs. And man.... Wyo looks like Heaven, Bro. It doesn't sukk to be that guy! LOL Rock on, Brother.
Thanks, Yeah and I think that is just like a little summer get away home...
Nice video. Sometimes it is nice to see real gigs, with behind the scenes effort and prep.
Thanks!
Thanks for posting these videos, they’re super helpful. I still drag out tube combos to gig, and resisted modelers as much as possible lol. But the Tonex one is an attractive option if even just for a backup in case of a combo failure. The in ear thing I’ve resisted too, but might have to give in at some point because certain gigs require them. Great stuff Rich, and Afu is endlessly entertaining!
Glad I could help! Yep, Afu is a fun dude. Always a party with him!
Thanks for the video Rich! I really enjoyed the song selection with REO, Styx, Kansas just to name a few…and walking on a thin line, you don’t hear those everyday and you guys nailed them!
Yeah, those tones are kind of this bands brand, doing classic rock covers as close as we can get them to the original.
Hey Rich I been using my Katana ll 100 for a couple of years live and instead of a stand I put on some Fender Legs 👍 way easier to deal with !
Cool, yeah, the stands I have are really convenient smaller foldable stands. One more thing to haul around, but pretty small and don't take up a lot of room.
Thanks for this, I currently gig live always with amps and pedals.
Just starting to look at the stomp and digital and also in ears!
Stomp is great! Gear keeps getting better and better!
Great job Rick and guys! 🤘🏾
Thanks!
Ist gig was tight Rich. Great drummer, good mix on vocals.
Thanks!
Really like the Tonex one cool vlog Rich!🙂
Thanks!
Looking great my friend! Keep the dream alive!!
Thanks Mitchie!
It's nice to see your channel still going strong ❤🎉🎉🎉 too many of my friends (in RL, RUclips friends) have walked away from music (including myself) 😮😢😢😮
Some nice playing again Rich. Looks like you were having a good time. Thought the two Katana's sounded good.
Always a good time when I am behind a guitar.
great vlog, bands sounds great and excellent of variety. I just picked up a ToneX One and I also own a Katana 50 MKII and the HX One stomp. I haven't made the switch to using the ToneX or Katana at gigs but I come up with great tones to use at home. One day I will! Amps are heavy and I'm an old working man guitar player. I use the HX One on my mini pedal board mostly for modulation effects. Thanks for sharing. Take care
Yep, I am getting older also. It's nice not to have to haul heavy amps, even though I still like having them behind me on stage pushing air.
Great video Rich! Been using the HX Stomp DI for 5 years now, and i think it sounds pretty darn good, but thinking I might give the Tonex One a try, running it through a send/return block on the HX.
Thanks!, cool let me know if you try it.
Thanks!
Thanks Dan!
enjoy your vids as always..keep rocking.
.
Thanks!
Great gig vlog, that "Well take a break and play the 1st set 4 u again" joke was funny, Ill use that!😅
I think Afu has all his jokes copyrighted... Ha!
You guys sound good.
Thank you!
Gig w/Tonex sounded great! The rhythm guitarist's tone was a bit too bright/scratchy sounding but didn't distract from the peformance. Also love the upper-deckers standing around having casual conversations, LOL.
Thanks!
Love your posts❤ ive been using a H&K Stompman through a 12 inch Egnator rebel 😊
Those rebels are great amps!
@@RichBischoff the Stompman is the amp I have , just Egnator cab. :)
Good job
Thanks!
Wow, the band sounds great. Nice work!
Thanks!
Always great insight and fun to watch life in Utah shredding it out brother.
Thanks brother!
Great Vid!
Thanks!
🔥🔥
❤❤❤
Thanks for these, it shows what a pro muso has to do to make a livin! From those beautiful stages with Toast to a front verandah for a rich bloke!! Also, how are you using the Iridium when using real amps? And to quote Neil Young “Live music is better, bumper stickers should be issued”.
Thanks, in this vid the Iridum was just going directly into the amps. Most times I run it to front of house, but in this vid, it was an amps only gig.
@@RichBischoff Thank you. I use mine with acoustic duo gigs when I switch to an electric for some songs. Really enjoy your gig vlogs by the way.
Wow, everyone can sing, (2) guitars, keyboards! Lots of capability to play almost anything.
Yeah, makes it really fun.
New subscriber here.
Thank you!
Wow an R.E.O. Container Wagon cover band. What next? Doobies of course Brother. Sounds good, but that Bass is kinda heavy handed.
Nice! 👍🏼
hi Rich, thanks for all the videos, i am a long time sub. I have got a question: with tonex in the loop of hx, do you feel some latency?
No latency.
Sounded great. I use IEM almost exclusively. They take some getting used to but mine sound great. I do have the customs from JH Audio and run Shure and Senn wireless units. I also bought a Tonex One about a month ago. It's a great little unit. I have yet to try it in conjunction with my HX Stomp.
Thanks. I am still trying to figure out the tonex stuff but so far so good.
@@RichBischoff the guys at Worship Tutorials do a great job with captures and they have a bunch of great amps.
Do you ever use the Katana’s effects to reduce having to carry out your pedalboard?
No, only because I like the control. I know they make some foot controllers. But I only like the katana as a clean platform for pedals. The distorted sound in Katana don't do it for me.
@@RichBischoff Thanks for your answer.
I’m pretty much the same, using a clean platform and front loading the pedals.
I don’t have any amps with an effect loop, so I don’t know if that would change the sound.
Do you run the stomp in the power amp plug of the Katana.
Nope used my regular pedalboard for the katana gigs.
I hardly ever turn my katana on, maybe at home once in awhile, I have an hx stomp on my gig board, use it every song for reverbs mods and delays, have the tonex 1 on my board loaded with drive pedals but have not used it yet. What do you have on your tonex? where in your chain if not as drive pedal?

@@RichBischoff right on, tried it this way, a/b switched it w my friedman irx as the preamp, which use the later as my preamp. And I prefer the power amp of my combos or larger amps, so its destined to be a back up pedal in my bag or as a drive pedal, lol
Hope you did not break a string reason for two guitars
I usually have a second guitar or pack of strings.
@@RichBischoff yeah but it’s kinda hard to change strings in the middle of a set. You have to take a break.
@stewarttomkinson3356 breaks are good!
