You are very thorough in doing the work all comrades
Thank you!
Tom Silva would be proud of the work u do
Thanks Dale!
Good video do you listen to your videos before you upload them your audio volume level is all over the place very loud and then very soft to the point where no one can hear you without cranking up the volume .
Thanks for that feedback. I do listen to them. I’m in the process of figuring out some new software and it’s not easy to get those sound levels right. I will make sure I focus on that I. The next one
0:51 Slurp ahhhhhhhh man thats good
😂 I thought someone would enjoy that
Love it. It is always shocking how much devbis you create from drilling pocket holes 😄
Thanks!
I like everything about your video except the wide range of audio volumes. Please get the under control because I meant to see more of your videos in the future!
Thank you for the feedback! I’m looking at better software now for future videos
@@DIYMAN thanks for taking the time to respond!
No problem!
This looks like a fun project & it turned out really nice! That's another "Well Done" from me Josh!
Thanks David! I appreciate that!
Nice work👍👍
Thank you so much Dan!
Looks good I'm making your farm house table and chairs now got one chair done working on the second like how you use everyday tools keep it up
Thanks Jimmy! Awesome! Have fun on the build!
Hello D,M I noticed when you were drilling the pocket holes you never drill down to the Drill stop?.Not a Criticism just wondering.Great Console by the way.
Wonderful job, and this is the first time I've heard about pre-stain. Have you considered building a tapering jig ? They work amazing and every part has an exact cut. Another great find for me is sanding mesh or screen for the orbital sander.
I would like to make some tapering jigs for my table saw. That would definitely make things faster
I am making that of yours table this coming weekend! Talking again about Minwax, this morning I was thinking about how to stain this four foot tall, four-legged narrow thing I made on Saturday that I will put an old bronze pot with a plant on. I made it that tall so that the plant will get more winter sun in front of the window as opposed to being low down on a table. I took a risk and used a 'Cabernet' gel stain right on the raw wood. I applied it three times and it came out, well, blotchy as heck - BUT - it goes well with the battered old bronze pot. Tomorrow I'll apply a matte Varathane varnish and sand parts of that down and repeat that a few times so the whole thing will look about 100 years old. Well, older than me that's for sure!
Nice! Sounds awesome! I like giving my stuff an “old look” like that sometimes too! I think it’s cool
At the time stamp 5:09 you made it look so easy to make shim's all you need instead of the saw you have using a chop saw it's amazing how us mean think when we get together.
Thanks Dad!
Wondering about the work bench with saw built in, I am trying to do simular to that expt to get rip fence to fit and work right my problem
Cut your tubafours to length first When that 8 footer binds , look out!!
😂
this is closest to the simpliest diy I can find with the most of the tools I have. I do not have a Table saw. I have a circular saw, and jigsaw and miter saw. How would I go about trimming the edges like you did to clean up the 1/4" on the 2x4's? And I would like a middle shelf, would assembly of the bottom shelf for a middle shelf be the same ? where would I add supports?
Well, you could make this without cleaning up the edges, and I bet it would look pretty good. Another way you could do it is with a planer or a hand plane, but that would take some time
Looks very nice!! Do you have the plans for sale?
Thank you! I don’t have plans. Sorry
Nice job but it wouldn't go well in my ultra contemporary home...lol. Cheers and Merry Christmas and to a safe New Year! 👍
Thanks! Merry Christmas!
@@DIYMAN 👍
That table came out amazing! I haven’t used polycrilic before. How is that to work with?
Thanks man! Polycrylic is SO much better than polyurethane. I will never use it again. It has a much more natural look. It dries quicker, and goes on much smoother. Actually, a subscriber suggested it and I tried it. I will continue using it until something better comes out
@@DIYMAN I will have to try it on something in the future for sure.
Definitely
Hey man try applying your acrylic and polyurethane with brush then you will have little to no sanding
Edit: meant to type try a foam brush
Ah, great tip! Thank you! I will do that next time!
Where did you get your drill bet set (box) table is nice am making one thank you for sharing
Thanks! It’s made by Grizzly. I’m not sure where it came from though. It was a gift
Found it! www.grizzly.com/products/grizzly-170pc-bulk-drill-bit-organizer/h8182?gclid=CjwKCAiAwKyNBhBfEiwA_mrUMghwk7aFj2lrSZm00zhqdUMgvSPq5aBwyKSwcgthGoY5MbRdzmvAqxoCsfIQAvD_BwE
Can you build a gaming pc table?
I would like to eventually. This one might work for a pc gaming table ruclips.net/video/uhWpruzMWas/видео.html
That audio is all over the place. Be ready!
Sorry about that
Good timing with this build! It would be ideal for Xmas...decorations or a place to lay out the goodies when having a get together! It's amazing how the angles make the legs so much nicer and the pre-stain really does make a difference. The buyer is surely loving it!
Yes, it was! She asked if I had end tables to go with it lol. I said no, but I could make some. So maybe I’ll make a video on some more end tables pretty soon too!
@@DIYMAN I agree...end tables and while you are at it, a coffee table would be nice as well!
I’ll be out of town for a couple weeks, but maybe I can work on that when I get back
Volume too low, them too loud, all of a sudden! Ouch.
Now, what was this video about?
Sorry about that
Dude - You made an awesome table in such a streamlined way. You didn't dado out the vertical legs for the horizontal supports!! That was huge to me. I hesitate this type of project because of anal woodworkers! Just pocket hole those bad boys, NICE!!! Simple! You helped me see projects easier. And freed me to use my Kreg jig more often! Thanks!!
- Just found yr channel looking forward to watching all your videos.
Thanks man! Not everyone has all those fancy tools, so I make a lot of projects the simple way!
Sound it Absolutely Terrible.!!
Sorry about that
