Thank you for this movie, it helped me fixing my camera. There was no need for any soldering, I did not have an external battery like you. Seeing the camera being dismantled helped me to do the same. Some parts were also glued which was no problem undoing. Putting back all the screws was a bit hard though, and the movie did not really help. I ended up with one screw to many, but with a working camera!
Well that was a waste of time. What was the soldering for? No explanations just a lot of questions being left unanswered. One comment in 4 years sort of says it all really.
