Asphalt 8 had the better soundtrack, better tracks with traffic on them, better and more intense gameplay, and much longer races than asphalt 9.
I just don't agree with the soundtrack part

Asphalt 9 is a great game but still too heavy to be enjoyed by most of users...what I don't appreciate is the cars progression system with cards and plans, I miss the freedom of credits...

i think both games are good, asphalt 8 is really good for 2013 games graphics but asphalt 9 just has little bit more realistic graphics than 8

Some people are saying that asphalt 8 is pay to win but others are saying asphalt 9 is pay to win aswell, it really depends on what kinda player u are, if u need the very top notch cars then asphalt 9 is the way to go but if u just wanna race in general get asphalt 8 (its also offline)
yeah you got good point asphalt 8 can be played offline without any problems but they updated it and it requires connection for upgrading cars

I really do prefer playing asphalt 8 cause the gameplay was so fun and good while in the other hand i didnt really like asphalt 9 but the graphics in asphalt 9 are very good
Ur phone just can't handle asphalt 9 or u haven't played it yet because asphalt 8 is so pay to win when I played 9 it was very cool my phone even played it at 24 fps which is good because of the cinematic experience

Graphically, A9 is a console quality game and it's surprising how gameloft was able to run such graphics on mobile phones. This shows that a dedicated gaming engine for mobile phones can easily put out console quality games on such underpowered hardwares but speaking of gameplay, A9 is far behind A8's, which is the better version and delivers a promising and satisfactory gameplay than the former.

I like A9 more than A8 because you can see that there is someone driving the car in A9 while in A8, you can see the seats and the steering wheel but no driver. But when it comes to gameplay, A8 is better because it has more game modes than A9

Why did you use the Touch drive in Asphalt 9? The experience is supposed to be able to control everything 100% and enjoy :)

Man theres one thing i love in asphalt 8 that asphalt 9 doesn't have, it is where you drift then trigger nitro resulting a quick turn. The asphalt 9 is like a rip off of nfs no limits like wtf why theres a friggin gas... Anyway one thing i like in 9 is the 360 move.

Asphalt 8 hits with nostalgia man... Asphalt 9 is tryna be it's own thing which I like, but it just doesn't compare to what Asphalt 8 is, or at least what it was until Gameloft went all EA Sports and started valuing money over quality.
tbh, as8 had wayy better jumps and was just so thrilling aswell and as9 is more of the graphics but either way, both are still really great games

Gangstar vegas feels like gta5 and graphics back then still compete now days i am amazed how they gave next gen graphics in 2013 looking at ps5 some games and gameloft great games graphics looks same. Real gta5 can come to mobile nowdays easy if gameloft graphics tactics and rockstars assests combine . Plz collab gameloft and rockstar games

Asphalt 9 blows! I absolutely love Asphalt 8, have since 2013 immersive mode to me is the best most fun way to play a racing game, on a tablet like a steering wheel but Asphalt 9 is not racing it’s keeping a box within the lines I don’t like that look at decades old racing games that is the only mode there was, 2019 I want to be in the car looking at the road and the other cars I want to possibly knock down not looking at my car = boring!
downloaded Asphalt 9 raced 3x and then deleted it.
There was a mystique about Airborne that the legends don't have.
Both are best in their own ways...
If you need some old memories asphalt 8 is best
If you need something new with better graphics go with asphalt 9
A9 is better but only thing is that races are short so a8 wins in race length and map category.

I playing both. They're not too bad. Asphalt 8 Airborne is easy clashing the car.I always frustrating if crashing the car. Asphalt 9 is not too many crashing.

Depends on what device you use. If you have a great device then both games will run smoothly.
But, I suggest asphalt 9 because asphalt 8 has so much bugs and lags even for high end devices.

@@shuaibl2488 For Asphalt 9 you need Internet Connection or it will display the No Internet Connection message and not proceed forward until you have the Connection.
Still prefer Asphalt 8 because it can be modified very easy so you can play with all the hypercars etc. In Asphalt 9 even though the graphics are better so hard to get fast cars, just by playing for 2 3 years or spending so much money which is useless cuz it's mobile game so yea Asphalt 8 ftw

I like how every one is talking shat about asphalt 9 but no one is talking about how airborne was like a pay to win like the currency system was trash and barely got any cars unless you payed for the in game currency and also legend has real life car and airborne has them weird cars and some real cars and you guys are talking about physics let's all just agree both games have wak physics because if both of these games had real physics the game would be boring but I did like that a8 had more laps then a9 short ones but one thing I can say is that I think asphalt is supposed to be more of drag racing than racing laps

asphalt 8 wasn't fair for me I am a kid so I can't buy credits and other stuff and cars in asphalt 8 were insanely expensive and if you max a car out In asphalt 8 there's no way others can beat it that's why I left asphalt 8 and started playing asphalt 9 but to be honest asphalt 8 was really fun to race with friends asphalt 9 auto drive ruined the game and I hate it when someone steals my nitrous in asphalt 8!
we can't use nitrous while jumping but still asphalt 8 has good memories
