We know he's legendary and talented but he doesn't seem to realize how inspiring he is. He's been pretty depressed at times especially during this era and still struggling with depression but he seems to be doing better now.

I think that's because he isn't mainstream artist and makes his own style of music, which people that are not musically educated don't usually understand. I think he's underrated in general. When I started to listen to EDM I only listened the mainstream songs, that came faster to me and had lots of views. But after some time when I started to discover new artists and styles I came to deadmau5. When I heard his music I was satisfied. When I listen to anything other than deadmau5 now I don't feel the music that much. He is a true artist and in my opinion the most creative EDM producer. He's in music scene over 20 years and makes an album with on average 10 songs almost every year. He should be in top 10 DJs. As I call him, he's the Mozart of 21st century...Sorry for talking much, but I really think he deserves more. And you're right :)

It depends in which way you mean by EDM. If you think EDM like Spinnin' and that you're right, he doesn't make that. But if you mean as electronic dance music then it obviously is. To be honest Martin Garrix isn't that bad after he left Spinnin', but yes it's still some mainstream artist. It was almost the same with me. Yeah...I agree with you 100%. One of the best deadmau5 songs ever. I think that's because he isn't mainstream artist and makes his own style of music, which people that are not musically educated don't usually understand. I think he's underrated in general. When I started to listen to EDM I only listened the mainstream songs, that came faster to me and had lots of views. But after some time when I started to discover new artists and styles I came to deadmau5. When I heard his music I was satisfied. When I listen to anything other than deadmau5 now I don't feel the music that much. He is a true artist and in my opinion the most creative EDM producer. He's in music scene over 20 years and makes an album with on average 10 songs almost every year. He should be in top 10 DJs. As I call him, he's the Mozart of 21st century...Sorry for talking much, but I really think he deserves more. And you're right :)
RengX Well, at my beginning with EDM music (even if deadmau5 don't see himself an EDM artist) I was exactly like you, only Martin garrix, dimitri vegas, David Guetta, Skrillex and stuff like that... Then i see in the RUclips home "Ghosts n Stuff" and basically never go back to that shit😂😂😂. Joel can do something of amazing with his music, and maybe it's a little strange but songs like this or Strobe make me feel sad/nolstalgic for something that never happened. For the top 100 DJ's don't give a fuck about that rank, seriously, i've seen daft punk in 72 position and Avicii at number 11!!! I mean really?? And awesome artists like Dillon francis are at number 64... Really, that rank is just bullshit
It depends in which way you mean by EDM. If you think EDM like Spinnin' and that you're right, he doesn't make that. But if you mean as electronic dance music then it obviously is. To be honest Martin Garrix isn't that bad after he left Spinnin', but yes it's still some mainstream artist. It was almost the same with me. I listened to Strobe and felt like I discovered new universe and it was soo deep feeling. Best song ever made. Yeah maybe it seems strange sometimes, but that's masterpiece. Better than just bigroom with one bass note all over the drop. Oh that nostalgy in his songs...it hits me everytime. It's great. Problem of top 100 DJs is that is more of a popularity contest than the quality rank...it really sucks. Daft Punk and Dillon francis deserve higher rank. For Avicii I think that's because he's retired of touring but still his music is great

I know Joel names his songs randomly on purpose, but I think the name of this track actually fits perfect. It gives me a dreamy, not yet awake feeling. The one you have in the morning.
