I think It is called snake stone.
*In mythology it is called Nagmani (Snake Gem) and is said to hold variable properties.
*In 21st Century, Naagmani is artificially made by implanting it on domesticated snake head thru a knife cut (its a sight unimaginable), they let it get attached to snake body when during it healing process, let it stay on it for months, then they remove the gem. So it is not a scam, but yet mythologically not correct 'Snake gem'

Any snakes' sac or mouth or hood does not contain any precious stones. Anyway, the imaginary stone has made a few unscrupulous people rich and made paupers out of many more gullible people. It is impracticable for a Snake to have something hard like a diamond in its mouth. The fairy-tale status attached to an Indian Snake is perhaps too blamed for such beliefs & myths.

The otolith (ear stone or ear bone) is the most commonly used structure for determining the age of fish. Otoliths are calcium carbonate structures found inside the heads of bony fish; sharks and rays lack otoliths. Each fish has three pairs of otoliths, which vary in shape and size.

When it comes that you are doing your walk through everything and start thinking oohh...this house is better this car is better this this this... then we talk about something else which is called greed... In my mother side of familly they beleived in snake stone, my mom's grandmother had it. Whenever a person was bitten by a snake they would bring the injured person to her. She put the stone on the bitten skin, the stone absorbed venum and changed color and became soft, then she took it and put it in milk, the milk cluttered immediately and stone was back to its original shape and it would save the life of the person. My mom has seen it herself when she was a child. But, after her grandma no one knows what happened to the stone. True story.

I bought my ex gf an alexandrite ring in Alaska. The 1st night she wore it, we were playing slots in the ship casino. She lost the stone when taking the quarters out of the slot tray. We looked on the floor and because of the stone changing colors it was hard to find but we found it. A guy I worked with had an alexandrite stone in a ring his grandfather gave him. Someone asked if it was a mood ring. I laughed and said it’s an alexandrite. He asked how I knew? I told him about the one I bought my ex. He said a jeweler offer him $10k for it. He declined. I told him it was priceless because his grandfather gave it to him. He agreed and was happy he said no.
