Yes I done my first Bolt Action tournament and got the wooden spoon with a 1250 point max with a 12 order dice max of Germans that came in at 1248 points with 2, 10 man Veteran Grenadiers with 4 and 5 Stg 44's a single MG-42 and 2 Panzerfaust. with a 8 man Vet Grenadiers with 3 Stg 44's 3 MP-40's and a MG-42. Veteran MMG team, a Regular medium mortarwith spotter, a regular SD Kfz 234/2 Puma, a regular SD Kfz 166 Brummbar, and a inexperi. Maultier all under the command of a regular 1st Lt with assistant so 9 order dice. The Brummbar is very fearsome as when it hit it took 7-10 infantry out of a squad, but I had 4 times point blank range where all I needed to do was roll a 3 and I did 1 or 2's does not take long for a game to go sideways when that happens. But I had fun and I have only been into Bolt Action for 8 months with a German and Soviet force. And in April 10th I'm entering my second one with a 1000point and 11 dice max tourney. With 2 10 man Veteran Grenadier squads with 4 Stg 44's a single MG-42's with 2 Panzerfaust. a Regualr Panzerschreck, a regular flamethrower team, Regular medium mortar with spotter, a regular SD Kfz 234/2 Puma, a Regular SD Kfz 251/21 Drilling, with a regular Maultier with MMG, under the command of a regular 1st Lt and assistant right at 999 points and 9 order dice. I'm seeing what a max dice rolling type of build will do. As each of my infantry squads can dish out 17 dice for hits. Then the SD Kfz 251/21 Drilling is a Hiter Buzzsaw with auto cannons and is a threat for anything that has a DV of 8 on down if it can get side shots to them. And against a squad it is down right frightening what it can do with HE. But I learn my lesson about high point vehicles with the Brummbar as at 320 points with Schurtzen it is a big point sink in a list, but it also causes your opponent to zero in on it and so make it sort of easier to move your other units around without attracting attention.
