- I've always been a bit obsessed with Elephants. There was a time when I'd watch videos about them every single night- of their rescue, of how poorly they are treated at the circus or zoo, why it's bad to ride them- and I'd always wish I could make a trip to go see them and take care of them myself. Elephants are such amazing creatures. They are so smart and so loving. They possess incredible levels of EQ and they can remember EVERYTHING. They will know if you love them, or if you have hurt them in the past, and they will do everything they can to protect their families. This experience was such a beautiful one for me. I'm definitely ranking it as one of the best days of my life.
Slater and I booked the "Pamper a Pachyderm" package at Elephant Nature Park, which gave us a more intimate interaction with the Elephants.

Awww Kryz!! I started tearing up when i saw you tearing up! Just visited Bangkok 2 weeks ago and i saw how elephants were treated in elephant shows, chained and used for rides. Didn't ride one because im already well informed about how they were trained or how 'crush' was used on them. It's so helpful to raise awareness on these gentle creatures that is why it's so nice of you to create that awareness through your influence in the social media world.😊 hope to visit this sanctuary soon! I love elephants too!😊 didnt get to hold one of them because they charge 100 baht for a single photo! Next on my bucketlist!
ENP is the best place for Elephants who have been rescued from forced labor and unethical treatment on circus and elephant tourism. The feeding time is really their feeding schedule and they live freely and safely in the property. Thank you, Kryzzzie! I'm so glad you made this feature and I hope more influencers will follow you in educating tourists and promoting the ENP cause.

Hello Kryz, I don't know if you'll ever get to read this but I just wanna thank you for sharing this location.
Ever since I was little I've been very fond of elephants.
And my dream destination ever since was Thailand because I wanted to ride an elephant. That has always been on top of my bucketlist until I stumbled upon a tumblr post when I was in my 1sr year in college. That post gave a brief description on what happens to these gentle giants but also included a few links to support her statement. Then and there it felt like my dreams were shattered. It also gave me complete repulse over myself for even having such a dream.
So thank you Kryz, for sharing your experience with us. When you were taking videos of the elephants my heart clenched because I was so happy for them, and when you cried I cried too, I'm happy for you. Meeting elephants are back on my bucketlist because of you.

The diary includes observation and description of the majestic characteristics and behavior of elephants. Easy reading but there is a twist in the plot 😊

Do you happen to know which baby it was? I'm just curious! :-) The only baby I know of that age that was born there is baby Dok Rak, a boy. They recently got a couple more babies, Dok Gaew (orphaned boy) and Thong Ae (girl) that are almost the same age. Sometimes Dok Gaew and Thong Ae play together. :-)
