Thank you for this video! I’ve been bothered by golfers elbow recently from overtraining in Olympic lifting - got the voodoo band but didn’t know how to use it - now I do!

Stay religious with it. Do it before your workout to heat up the elbow and then immediately following your workout. Then I would do it one more time before bed. Make sure to sleep with arms straight. No hugging a pillow ect. You want to keep your tendons stretched out as much as possible while trying to recover.

Just bought a voodoo band because of your video. I weigh 240, started late March doing 4 pullups max, by mid June I was able to get to 13. I was doing pullups everyday and towards the end of June I got golfers elbow. My goal was to get to 20 pullups, I hope to heal soon so I can achieve that goal. Going to drop some weight as well. How many pullups can you do? Thanks for sharing the video

This was a lifesaver. Still have my same band and if I ever feel “anything” in the elbow I immediately start treating it again. Stay consistent with it. Use it before and after every workout.

Just got it about 10 mins, did my first round of flossing. I did for about 3 minutes. I can feel the pain more, but I heard that's normal at first. I was going to try negative curls as well, what weight do you use?

@@estanteria45 negative curls are also great. You can also get a lacross ball and massage the area. It will hurt. That is fine. It’s normal. Also. Rest is NOT actually the answer. Warm it up really good. Workout “normal”. Don’t go overboard. You will start to see improvement. Good luck. Hope you get it fixed. I hated it when I had it. But now free from it for close to a year and it makes a world of difference when it’s no longer hurting.

Thanks for the vid. I've been dealing with this for almost 2 years now and it is driving me crazy - I've ordered the voodoo band and i'll be starting using it today. Question: How often do you use it? how often CAN you use it? I'm thinking about going for 2 x 2-3 mins every day.

When my elbow flares up I use it before my workout (to warm the elbow up) and then I use it immediately after my workout. Then I may use it one more time after a couple hours or right before bed. So 3 times a day. But there is no rule on how often you can use it.

Great vid. I'm where you were before discovering these bands lol. About to buy one and I'm wondering how your elbow is now a few months on?

No pain in my elbow at all. It’s the first time in a long time that I am pain free in that elbow. Now dealing with a little tennis elbow in the right arm and the band does not work as well for tennis elbow. Golfers elbow though it was magic.

@@Fitnessover40 thx for the reply and great to hear. My Physio scoffed at me today and told me I'm wasting my time. I hope the band works for me as well. Thx again
