Full walk from Puerto Del Carmen Old Tour Harbour to Puerto Calero - Lanzarote Taxi Boat back!

- Today we took the walk from Puerto Del Carmen Lanzarote Old Town Harbour to Puerto Calero, this is a great walk for all ages. It's a little steep in some places and a few steps and hills but mostly flat. The walk from Puerto Del Carmen to Puerto Calero took us about an hour even though I said 40 mins in the video and even the kids enjoyed it. This a great thing for kids and a must-add to your list of things to do in Lanzarote with kids.

Whether you decide to walk from Puerto Del Carmen to Puerto Calero one way and get the Lanzarote waterbus back or get a return ticket and do no walking and just head straight from Puerto Del Carmen harbor to Puerto Calero the choice is yours.
On the walk, you get amazing views out to see and a birds-eye view of Puerto Del Carmen, most of the walk is flat but as you head closer to Puerto Calero there are some cobbled steps that were the most challenging part of the walk.
In total it was about 8000 steps so not too much and we took a picnic but you can get a well-deserved drink and food in Puerto Calero while you wait for the taxi boat back to Puerto Del Carmen.
All in all, we think this is a must thing to do in Lanzarote and as it is free to walk why not do it.

We did this last Sunday, walked to Puerto Calero (stunning place) and had Water Taxi back to Puerto del Carmen 😀 So glad I watched your video ..p.s Would love to see more interesting places to visit ,walking or taking bus for our next visit 😀

Lovely scenery, I did this and then onto playa Quemada. Had a swim, a Spanish omelette in casa Tino and the walked back to the casino area of PDC. 38000 steps. Your next challenge!

Nice video but You said at the start it was 7900 steps in 40 minutes…. That’s 200 steps a minute -which is my fast jogging speed … I didn’t see much jogging going on during your trip ? Are you sure it only took 40 minutes ?
