The ordinary formulation had 10% niacinamide, studies have shown that anything above 5% is too high and disrupts your skin barrier. I had the same issue and I wrecked my brain tryna figure it out. Stick to brands with formulations under 5%, better results. Love the vlogs and transparency❤
25:40 - I relate to this so deeply. I am thriving at gym and experiencing the good emo's and it's great. But the scale is doing nothing because I haven't conquered the kitchen. Also set rules around eating patterns and my goal for the rest of March is to increase my water intake (bare minimum). I figure I will continue to build credibility with myself as a disciplined person (gym) while I continue working on victory in the kitchen. It will definitely happen -for all of us working on this facet of our lives🌱

Hi doll I hope you’ll see this comment. You and I have the same body structure and I’ve lost weight, I’m now a sexy size 34. For us South African “fine babes with nyash” protein powders are big NO. The minute I stopped taking protein powders, I started loosing weight. I get my protein from eggs DAILY, I work out four times a week. I don’t drink juice, I drink 4-5 litres of water a day(water literally tore my fat to pieces), I also do intermittent fasting. I use to start my workouts with a skipping rope(jump rope) ,incorporate whatever workout, then end with a skipping rope or the treadmill. Don’t ever start a workout with a treadmill but, end with it(that’s how you loose fat). I’ve cancelled my gymn membership, I’m now a home workout doll because of what I achieved solely. I do some hectic RUclips workouts, my glutes are popping even more and waist on check, nothing was recked. I moved from 90kg, 80, now in my 70’s all in less than a year because I fought. Skipping rope (jump rope) helps loose weight by toning your body.

And thanks for sharing your thoughts and chatting about the struggle of your weightloss, we can all relate. I was in the same place for a few years, and then realised, ultimately if you are not in a calorie deficit across weeks and months, I won't shift the fat, so then I decided to find my range for what I need daily calories wise (1600-1800cals - I'm 5ft 8), kept my protein goal range at 100-130g, and fibre goal at 20-30g per day. This way, I was in what they call a 'soft' deficit, but it meant I could actually do it. Before that, I always tried the more severe deficit of 500 calls, so my daily range would be more 1400-1600, and I just couldn't do it. Anyways, just thought I'd share. Keep up the good work, love your vlogs and seeing the South-African shops and life!! Much love from the UK xxxx
