Hey mate just stumbled across your channel looking for anything on Haines Signature's
I'm just curious what made your decision to go with the Signature?
Been looking at down sizing, and want to know what was your main reasons over other leading fiberglass manufacturers like H-Hunter, Cruise Craft and Evolution?
Did you take anything else for a test drive to compare the ride quality in heavy chop.
Appreciate any info and pros and cons on the signature..
Almost evey forum reckons a H-Hunters will out preform a Signature, owned a 680 HH years ago and just sold my 7.4mtr glass boat few months ago, now looking to downsizie to a 6.5mtr, I like the look of your Signature but I've never been in one to compare that SVDH they promote.
    Cheers
    🍻

Hey mate, i was looking for something that was a good all round faimily boat. I was looking for a carribean reef runner but could never find one that ticked all the boxes. The main things for me was the hard top, made in Aus, dry boat and a good ride. I cannot be more happier with this boat. Fuel usage is around 1.8km per litre. The SVDH is a bit weird to get use to to start with but just depends on what boat you are use to.

      Hey thanks for your reply.
You mentioned the SVDH a bit weird at first.
What do you mean by that?
I'm generally interested in a couple of their later 6-6.5mtr F-series models, but really struggling to find any info or hear of anyone who has anything to say about the ride performance.
Not so interested in the stability at rest, just the ride quality in comparison to a non SVDH.
      Cheers 🍻

@jb243wp The stabilty are rest is amazing, i personnly think better than a non SVDH hull. Ive come from a penguin huntress and i had to really trim that down to get best performance through the chop. With this hull it rides better once trimmed up to get the sharper deadrise cutting through the chop. Then if its glass conditions trimming it up about half way and using that flatter bottom for ride/ performance for good fuel economy.
