Probably one of the best reaction videos.. So genuine and so real! Im a mother of a senior this yr and I cant wait to start the process with my son. You have the best parents! Good luck to you in your future. BTW, love to see ppl applying for TCU. thats where my son wants to go :)
Congrats on the acceptances and especially on choosing ND! Hopefully you are able to have a relatively normal freshman year even with everything else going on. P.S. Just a tip, make sure you bring a fan (or several fans) if your dorm doesn't have AC. With the earlier start this year there are probably going to be some really warm days.
Congrats. I was hoping for Brown, our son went through this same time last year. You're going to have a great time at ND, but I'll be rooting against every ND team (nothing personal).
@@machoperez5471 I’m not sure. The acceptances rates are so low at top schools that a lot of qualified applicants will get rejected no matter what. I guess each school is just looking for different attributes in their student body.
Your parents are so supportive!!! And I see that you applied to many colleges under EA. Would you recommend going for EA over RD? And are you out of state for UNC? Would love to go there but out of state acceptances is toughhhh. Congrats!
EA and RD are pretty similar. The only difference is the school’s EA is before their RD deadline. While you have less time to write essays, you will hear back 1-3 months earlier than if you had applied RD. Not every school has EA from what I remember, but it is definitely nice to know hear back from schools early. So if you can, I’d try and apply EA where you can. Also, I’m not from NC.
From what I’ve heard there is a slight higher acceptance rate for many schools EA admissions mainly because they know the applicants are more competitive and also that the students care a little bit more. Also you get to hear earlier which is awesome!! Some schools however don’t have EA at all so be sure to look into it!
I was getting so excited about Duke cause I applied same time for ED and got rejected but I was hoping for the best but hey things change. Just keep moving best of luck
I am sure you will do great things at Notre Dame. But I am sorry that you passed on my alma mater, Washington University in St. Louis. Oh well...they are both great schools.
It's crazy, in month span I switched my mind between WashU and Notre Dame about four times. It was a real tough choice. I visited WashU during quarantine and I was really impressed with the campus, definitely one of prettiest campuses I've seen. But you are right, you can't go wrong with either.
Congratulations on all your acceptances! My son will be a senior this year and will apply to many of the same schools. How did you finally choose to attend ND?? If you have a video on this, please link! Thank you!
The amount of times you said “let’s go baBY” has me dying😂 but congratulations!
Noter dame is my dream college! I’m glad you got accepted good luck!

washu is literally one of my dream schools so don’t mind me watching every college reaction video about it as i stress about my essay
Good luck! You got this!
Many congratulations! Notre Dame is a wonderful place. Enjoy every minute of it.
Congratulations on all your acceptances!! I'm a Class of 2018 ND grad and was so stoked when you chose ND at the end of your video :) Go Irish!!
While I had other great choices, it’s hard to pass on a school with such a passionate alumni base and school spirit. Go Irish!
Congrats on your acceptances! I'm going to UNC in the fall and I can't wait. I know Notre Dame is going to be an awesome experience for you!
UNC was a tough option to pass up. Have fun at UNC! I do have to say, UNC’s colors and merchandise are top tier

Your parents are so sweet i love.
Love your videos and I love Notre Dame..I can't wait till my son is in your place..God bless you and your family...
Hoping your son will enjoy!
If you any questions, feel free to contact me
Yes ...why do you think other college did not accept you, what was the reason? Again God bless you.. I'm so happy for you..
By the way my son is only 5yrs old so I have time..lol

Amazing 🤩 congratulations 🥳 for applying for college
Way to go, Drew!

Where did you end up?
Drew Braaten UCBerkeley‼️ which totally shocked me, but hey it’s perfect for me. Catch me at Berkeley in the fall as a bioengineering major 😅
Awesome. Polar opposites to Notre Dame, but just as great!
What were some examples of business extracurricular as that you had?
Congrats!!
I liked it because you chose Notre Dame😂. That’s my dream school and I work hard every day to get there
Love to hear it! Keep working hard
Hi, thank you for the video! Can you please share how you created and submitted your art portfolio with your application to Notre Dame?
congratulations!!!! new subscriber ❤️
Was it difficult to get to the ND? because in the future I would like to apply. Thank you for your answer.
Ok but where are we gooooooooooooooing? 😂
☘️ND🚂🚂🚂‼️‼️
Great job btw 🙌🏾🙌🏾
Thank you 💯💯💉💉💉💫💫‼️‼️
What did you do for your jr and sr year in high school? IB? what were your scores, if you could share? Thanks.
I love ND
The USC rejection is such a big oof, especially because you got invited for the interview.
Did you do any sports in high school that you added to your extra curriculars?
I played highschool soccer for 4 years, club soccer for two years, and track for junior year.

I plan on making a video on why I choose Notre Dame in the future👍🏼
@@DrewBraaten great, I look forward to it! Aside from major differences in financial offers, I'm not sure how he will choose!
Would have been a really short video if you got accepted ED to Duke, but I thought you would get deferred. Ok, onward and upwards.
How is Notre Dame going?
I can't complain. If you want to see more of my experience, check out the first two episodes of the series I'm making called the Notre Dame Show
his dad is such a goofball.
ND as a backup school to usc?!!! I hope that is a joke. If only your mom was on Full House, you would have gotten in.
Why did apply for UNC and others twice
I applied to UNC once. There are two reactions: one for when I got in and one for when I told my parents.
Sorry today I knew that I'm stupid I got confused between UNC and USC, northwestern and northeastern
what we’re your high school stats and sat/act scores
I talk about myself and my stats, very briefly, at the end of the video.
#STUDENTSFORYE
Glad you didn’t get into USC
Leave.
I love ND
