Beautiful ship Chicken! Incredible that you put this back together in less than 8 minutes..I need to figure out a better way to breakdown my ships to put them back together instead of literally going piece by piece.
Hey thanks yo 🤜🤛. I just posted another one a couple of minutes ago 👍. I'm gonna go get that video shared around on the socials real quick, but I'll be back to lend a couple of tips on the breaking down portion of the process if you like.
Heres my breakdown process. Not saying you have to do it this way. Im just telling you how i do it. Might at least spark an idea for ya 👍 When you're pulling apart a ship, particularly one with a lot of merges and not-so-obvious snap points, you want to pull it apart in small groups made up of parts that are clearly connected to each other. Once you select your group (and the mirrored group on the opposite side), pull those parts off and place them to the side, then use "select all" on the ship, but don't pick it up. If all of the other parts turn red, then the parts you pulled off have no dependents, and you can safely set them aside as the next step in construction. Make sure you place them on the grid in the order you pulled them off. You won't be able to reassemble these same groups of parts in virtually any other order than how they're pulled. If select all leaves some parts un-highlighted, those parts were dependent on the ones you pulled, which means you'll either have to include them in your selection, or, if the dependent group of parts is large, make a new selection, keeping in mind which parts depend on which. It's important to get a screenshot of each one of your selection groups after you've selected them and confirmed theyre dependent-free, but BEFORE you pick them up and set them aside. This is so you have a reference guide of your own for putting them back together. And that's pretty much it. Just do the steps in reverse and record the process lol.
Bro every build is so great. I love them all. I still can't get the top speed at what yours is. I got the mods and put it near the end of load order but still nothing. So frustrating
The mod that does that is called "Ship Combat Revised". It cuts engine speed in half but makes them additive, among various other changes. It does this globally so enemy ships gain the same effects. Which is why I didn't include it lol. And thanks much my friend 🙏
brother, i'm trying to build ur ship builds it's awesome i suggest share with us Ship Builder Configurator Settings, snaps u're doing on videos seems easy but for us something wrong I would appreciate it if you could provide the settings.
Overlap Checks - Enabled Overlap Tolerance - Large Class M - Diasbled (I have a mod for this) Snap Distance - Default or Small Zoom on Add - Disabled Min/max floors - Largest Floor change speed - Slow Max/Min Zoom - Farther Gamepad pan/rotation/zoo. speed - Fast or Very Fast Mantis Traansponder -Enabled The rest of the Configurator options aren't relevant because I have mods to cover those settings.
Ok, so I just went and gave that section of the video a watch and I night have a solution. Do the step at 2:13 first, then go back to 1:30 and do the step with the deimos wings but see if they'll attach in the right spot without the bracers.
@@chickensquare1 i back from work and start follow the build again but i restart two mods and see any conflict to them they are better snaps and flips, after that i managed to build the ship as u did on videos without any problems, thanks a lot
@@chickensquare1 I tried that as well. It has nothing to snap to where it does in the video. Must be another piece I am not seeing other than the 3 Deimos wing a, and 2 Deimos spine a's
@grizwulf that's weird. Well you can snap them as close as you can to that spot. It should only shift the parts about 1/2 step. Or, instead of snapping to the deimos wings you can try snapping the bracers by themselves to the ship where they attach in the step, then try and attach the wing assemblies to them.

@MaLR-Max awesome dude glad you git it figured out
Would like to build this but at 1:37 my 4 mini nova bracers will not snap where yours do 🤷
A shame, I have same mods, but unbuildable for me.
Have you tried the other way around, grabbing the deimos wing group and snapping them to the bracers?
