That was really cool to see you spear that fish and on your first try no less! I'm still planning on making my own atlatl here as soon as I can find some really good materials, thanks for the inspiration!
Hey bob, You got me into atlatls when I was 11, I stoped using them when I was 13 and I'm now 15. I stumbled onto your videos and I now want to make a really nice one for hunting, fishing, absolutely stunning looks, and just playing around. I was wondering if you could help me design one or if you have something like what I'm looking for and I could base my design off that?
As you filleted the fish I noticed two things, first the scales are so small they look more like those of a salmon or trout as opposed to the large scales common to carp int the SE.. The second is that the flesh was very white and fairly fine textured. I think I'd be willing to try it prepared several different ways including gifelte fish. I try to keep waterproof matches and a lighter in my vehicle as well as a lighter in my pocket. I find either is a much more expedient and convenient means of starting a fire than spark and tinder. Actually, even if I'm backpacking and carrying a spark or coal-based fire kit I'll turn to the lighter first. Would it be bush crafting instead of backpacking if I refused to use matches or a lighter? Perhaps this is a question for a different video. Back on point now I'll close by saying I liked the video and am encouraged to make new darts and start flinging again.
I like the happiness on this man's face when he catches a fish :D

Hi did you make one yet?
"I got one *meticulous laughter*" made me laugh so hard
Nice! I actually bought my first atlatl from you. Make my own takedown darts now that have arrow inserts so I can use points or broadheads.
Hello neighbor, southern Indiana, here. Nice shot!
Good shot!
Now me, no more accurate than I am, I'd have to be whale hunting. But you got that invasive fish first try!
Hey, That's Jeff in the red shirt. He was one of my survival instructors. Great video.
I had Jeff as an instructor too.
we want more videos like this!
He bodied that thing with caveman weapon and cooked a perfect boneless fillet in less time than it takes me to grill a cheese
It's a real hoot watching you have so much fun¡!!!!!
Very good! Never ate a carp before. Thank you.
Wow, what a shot!
I guess you could take the big golden carp the same way, great shot, looking forward to spearing one of my own.
i freaking love it, great shot..
..bill

Scary dude, great shot
Kewl! A "Morakniv"!!! A knife from Mora, Dalarna in Sweden! :D
4 major carp in china……they are delicious if you marinade them with some drizzle of wine and ginger slices, beer will do the job
awesome
Ditto on catching and eating!!!!!
that's a really nice carving knife
jonnyhatter35 it's a morakniv they are super cheap
Liked that you killed the fish and not let it keep suffering
Это же надо, как Бобу ловко получилось добыть рыбу, отличное видео.
Спасибо за просмотр нашего видео.
That fish looks delicious
Deadly
Nom nom!
Enhorabuena
Dead on headshot!!!!!!
I guess there is no catch and release with the Altalt 😂
I can't believe you ate a AC 😨
I think they taste better than you think. Asian Carp are considered a food fish. It all depends on how you handle the meat after you catch it.
And people are starving in America. Feedem! carp! 😎
😳😳😳😳🤐💪💥💥💥💥
Dont forget to kill fish before you cut it
Werter Todd - He dispatched it with a swift blow to its head with the atlatl at 1:34
Quality content, kill cook and eat a fish in only a 5 min. Long video
"Everybody" may know how to fillet a fish, but obviously, not many know how to fillet a carp into boneless fillets.
Gracias pero ES DEMACIADO SALVAJE
That fish is not a carp
This is indeed a silver carp.
