😔 Always, ALWAYS HEAT UP THE FIGURE before attempting removing parts. Even heads if they feel stiff. I use a hairdryer, it's the safest way. Another way is putting the figure into a plastic bag, and place it into hot water. I use a transparent plastic bag just to check if there is any paint damage.

The cape is ridiculous, way too long, even for Batman. How could he fight with such a long cape ?
