Peter Dunn is such a genuine dude. I got motivated to grind again and I wondered if proview from LPL was still possible to get. I heard Dunn talk about it on SI some time back, so I sent him a DM asking about it. I never expected a response, but Peter Dunn took time to answer a complete random with 20 followers on Twitter.
I looked at the title of this at the start to see if this was only a two part interview or a three. When I saw it was 4, that’s when I realized it was truly a Peter Dunn interview.
this was easily my favorite reflections yet. I wish Dun was in more content online bc he is incredible to listen to. I don't even play or watch league anymore but listening & watching the way he talks & reflects on his career made me miss the game lol
I have to say, this part (most of it) was really really interesting to hear. Many insights into pretty recent events after all. Thankful that Peter at least can share pretty much of things happening etc. And when he can't completely, he can at least hint at it. Awesome man, you got a lot of good content also by letting Peter talk to the end, even when it takes long time.
I typically watch all the content, never comment/like and I need to apologize for that. This interview is proof of Thorin's belief that an interviewer's job is made infinitely easier when the subject is able to converse off memory... how you led the topics flowed amazingly and Peter has been extremely eloquent. As a past donor, thanks a lot (and thanks Jerckysminion)!
Thorin, when is the Rekkles video you mentioned you are cooking coming out? Im thinking about it since the podcast, I can just feel hes such a selfish and a negative personality for the team or to be around, yet acts like a saint (I dont know but he just smells that way)😂
This rubs me the wrong way. The guy has his team get demolished at every international, yet has the audacity to say that enemy players are worse than imagined. If you get that ass blasted then do so in silence. Its just an extension of the horrible mentality that the west has had for the last fiew years: We made it to worlds, got kicked out instantly because we're terrible, but i think we did good and that the enemy actually isnt that much better. Now ill go home and practice some more, but not as much as the asian teams, because then i have an excuse for losing.
Pretty much sums up why western LoL is so much more inferior when even coaches have this kind of mentality. Chlorine really been trying to farm engagement using T1 and Faker nonstop lmao.
I don't get why people think being confident and saying this is regarded as a bad thing, if you are not optimistic and just think there's no chance to beat them you're just going to lose everytime. As to practicing we all know the culture in asia and how they practice, europe tends to focus more on work balance and routine. Just because they don't practice like they do in asia doesn't mean they're not working hard, on top of that european soloq is way worse and spamming it mindlessly isn't also the solution imo.
There's also nothing wrong with saying that your opponents played worse than imagined. Doesn't necessarily mean he thinks he's better than them, saying that is to get confidence for the future and giving confidence for teammates, who are they offending?
Title is about Caps not Faker. Mixed up a story from a different forthcoming interview.
hey fellow dutchmannnnnnnnnnn
Peter Dun, the most interesting man in LoL esports that is not the player himself

So excited for the rest of this. Keep at it, Thoorin.
we are so blessed to have Peter Dun in esports
We only know this because of Thorin though. No body else has given Dunn the time and space to express himself the way Thorin has.
yep

Does anyone know what EDG documentary they are talking about at the start of this section?
Should be Make/Break episode with EDG
@@jrath98 Thanks a lot, I'll check it out :)

Can't both be true? People can be worse than expected, but still better than you.
Bro, humanoid carries dead weight every worlds, what can he realistically do?
