I watched the full Adam video with my youngest kid (she's 10) and her comment was why are you guys not on the proper telly?
And she's right.
Your on screen happiness, your flamboyancy, your chemistry with Adam. It was a great watch. Normally with RUclips videos we get bored after 20 minutes. Not with that video.
It took it out of you but that video brought so much joy to others watching so Thank YOU!
Now let me address this one here. Adam is clearly in your life for a reason. Every time you do a video think of this - You are both an inspiration to others!
Did you deserve it? Blooody right you did. Some would say that there was divine intervention at work but it was only you and Adam. You were meant to enjoy your time with the giraffes just the two of you. Look back on it fondly.
As for giving things away. You're a wonderful person with a great heart. You give to us viewers ALL THE TIME. There were times watching the Chesington video we LOLd a lot. That's what makes it special, looking back Adam's other videos when we see him treating you.
I don't know if you'll be ever fully rid of your demons but us viewers will go a long way to helping you. Thank you for your honesty.

Gary when you fly on an airplane they make this announcement “In case of emergency, air masks will drop the ceiling. If you are traveling with a minor, please put on your own mask before helping the minor.” I think we can translate this into our daily lives as well - we have to care for our own souls in order to better care for others. Just something to think about. XOX
Something that my therapist many many years ago told me when I was first diagnosed with bipolar and depression is that you’ve got to help yourself before you can help others. Make yourself whole so when you help others they are getting your best self. Keep fighting the good fight, it’s a never ending battle and there are good days and bad - as you know. Just keep pushing and reach out to others (like Adam or a therapist) when you need a life jacket in a storm. We’re here for you because you’re here for us. Much love ❤️

You make me cry and you made me smile. I too have anxiety and I really don't have a lot of friends. I am home a lot, which I enjoy, or I am working at my job with mentally challenged adults. That job keeps me going. I am 65 years old and I am okay with my life the way it is. I enjoy watching you and you are such a blessing to me. I love your art and have purchased two of your works. Thank you for your honesty about anxiety. I've had bouts of low self esteem, anxiety and mild depression over the years. I found your comments very interesting about how taking pics can provide a degree of disconnect for you. It never really occurred to me but I sort of do the same at times. Though I also sometimes chid myself for intentionally disconnecting from situations instead of "just being there." That voice in my head is very annoying at times lol.

Gary. Gurrl. I have had #theguilt for all of my life. I am currently trying to break myself of it by putting myself before anything and anyone else. It is so hard to explain how crippling that is. I am so happy that you have a friend like Adam to guide you through that and remind you of your worth. Your videos and those with Adam make so many people happy because of who you are. Disclaimer: I'm having a tough couple of day and I'm emotional af. But Gary, I cried through the majority of your video. Those feelings of not feeling worthy are so 100% relatable to me. I definitely feel guilty when I spend any money on myself (I have a six-year-old boy), I feel like I'm not worthy of things that I receive, the opportunities I get etc. But I just wanted to tell you that you absolutely deserve everything you're getting at the moment, you are the kindest, gentlest soul I watch on youtube, seeing you being able to interact with those giraffes literally made my heart burst, it was absolutely magical. I ran to Adam's store to buy one of your prints, I am so excited to own on, I can't wait to put it up in my home! :)

I do have some of that parent guilt you were talking about where I would give and get anything for my kids but when it comes to myself it's harder to justify no matter how small it may be. And YES, even though we may hem and haw over "it," we ARE deserving because we should bring joy to our own lives along with the joy we can bring to others. One step/day/experience at a time. You are such a sweetheart. I don't think you have any idea how much your honesty helps people. I feel constantly unworthy of anything. I feel like because of my PTSD and depression I do not contribute enough to society or my family. Most of my income after Bill's goes to things for other people. You have a way about you that just bring people in. Thank you for what you do.
Your little stuttered breathing to explain anxiety is so relatable. When I say I have anxiety disorder to people and they have no idea what it is I end up going "oh it's sort of like my brain is going AHHHH" :')

Gary, I'm so glad you have a friend like too. You should not have to explain yourself if you want to do something for yourself, You & Adam are always saying "Treat Yourself!" So do it! LOL. I actually cried when I saw the footage of you feeding all the animals especially the Giraffes. You looked so happy! The employees need to be acknowledged for being so nice and taking your camera. Who knows it may be their job. But they were awesome. SO glad you and Adam had such a wonderul time there. Can't wait for your Disneyland Paris videos with him.

Love ya Gary - you make me smile. I remember a zoo in France my parents took us to when I was 6yrs old and you could feed the giraffes popcorn (!) - you never forget those long black tongues!! I loved your 'Friends' print the most too, and couldn't resist treating myself (although the kids think it's for them as we're taking them to WDW for the first time in a year or so). My son and I both suffer from anxiety, with mine coming in waves. This last year has been the worst for me, and I've really appreciated your honest sincere videos. I wondered if it was possible for you to get a pet? My boy and I both really enjoy that calm connection with animals (as you clearly do too) and are looking forward to getting a puppy next year.

Oh those giraffes were the cutest! I'm so happy you got to enjoy that (and you totally deserved it!). I get that guilty feeling though. My husband helps me a lot, being the voice of reason, letting me know it's okay to spend money on things that'll make me happy sometimes. We all need that person!

My dearest Gary, you are an amazing young man. What happens with you my dear, is that you have an enormous heart and you can’t wait to give whatever you get to your love ones. And you follow a principle that doesn’t fail, you give, you receive. Whatever you give, you get back. So, if I may say so, just keep on giving. You will get more and more. And in my personal opinion giving gives you more pleasure than receiving. So keep on going my dear!! Every time you post that you were invited to go to x place, or were given x things, I feel genuinely very happy for you. Never change that. Anxiety, my oh my, I believe we all go through that. But I’ve learned that the more you focus on it, the worse you feel. Work on ignoring that feeling. Little by little it will improve. I want your work!! All of them. The Once Upon a Time is absolutely incredible. I have loved castles forever! I have to check how much I’d have to save to get them. I hope I can still get them by then. I love you my dear, you are a wonderful person. I wish the world had more people like you.
Firstly the Giraffes, that was so lovely to watch! You looked like you enjoyed it too much.
I completely get this whole not deserving things. I feel so lucky that I get to do incredible things and every time both before and after I get massively stressed about why it is actually happening to me. When I’m actually doing these things, the anxieties go away because I know I’m there to do a specific task and that's what I solely focus on (so kind of like you taking photos). I also then get stressed because I feel I need to be on my very best form because that person/brand has been kind enough to give up their time/money/whatever for me. Especially with PR stuff, I feel the pressure to be doing things 'properly' because I have some massive worry that if I do one little thing 'wrong' I'll get struck off everything forever.
Strangely enough I actually get a conflicting worry of me possibly not being grateful enough. I really struggle expressing gratitude and the only thing I ever feel I can do is say "thank you" over and over again. I feel those two words don't have enough weight to what I want to express. I worry that by me just saying thank you, the person on the other end will not fully understand how grateful I actually am. I really convince myself that I'm never showing enough gratitude.
With anything in this online world we get opportunities that can be get bigger and crazier than anything we've experienced before. Then sometimes when I get something similar to what I've had before I wonder how can I show that I'm not taking it for granted. I don't ever want my crazy experiences to feel normal because even the 'less exciting' (only through comparison to bigger things that have happened since) would be an absolute dream for someone else out there and are still great for me. I always like to take the time for every opportunity I get to think about how I would have felt about receiving that experience had it been the first ever crazy thing that had ever been presented to me. That really helps me appreciate how lucky I am but also makes me realise how far I've come and why I shouldn't be thinking that I don't deserve anything. That thought process really does make me realise how grateful I am.

Oh Gary Listening to you talk about feeling non deserving felt like you were talking about me. I give so much away to other people in many circumstances . I make scarfs and blankets not for myself I buy the yarn and think about what others would like and not myself. Ive always been like that. I dont know why but listening to you say that is what you do also makes me feel like Im not the only one. I enjoy giving but dont understand why I never think of myself. Alway, I am completely enjoying your channel. You are a very talented individual!
One last note. Be careful who you let in your life . You are a very kind person and people tend to take advantage. I've learned
Gary!! My gorgeous boy!! I feel your pain, I have definitely been in that position of feeling undeserved!! I’ve went through huge self development in this area- I have to say what helped me (guilted me- which works well for me personality type) into being more grateful was this type of example... Imagine your friend says to you “you look great today! Love your hair/clothes/shoes” and your standard response is “oh shut up I look awful ha ha ha!!...this old thing.,,standard response” here’s what you’ve done...imagine your friend went out to buy a gift especially for you- they’ve seen at least a dozen shops and spent 4 hours hunting for the perfect gift...and they find it...then they give it to you and you say “oh shut up I can’t have this ha ha ha” and you look up at your friend and you’ve crushed there excitement, there happiness because THEY think you don’t like it. Every time someone gives me a compliment I think of this and I smile and say thank you....it took a long time of doing this before I started to mean it in my head! This too is what the universe feels when you are “gifted” (I mean in every way- you know I don’t just mean in RUclips or monetary) and feel you don’t deserve it- the universe questions if what it’s given you is wrong
I hope this makes sense- essentially I’m saying YOU DESERVE WONDERFUL THINGS! Also remember the universe is infinite- you getting something is NOT taking away from someone else- there’s enough for everyone ❤️❤️ huge hugs xxx

I definitely agree we all need an Adam in our lives.
As for feeling like I deserve things, it’s about 50/50. Sometimes I do feel like I deserve certain things, other times it’s like “Why did I get such and such? There got to be someone else that deserves it much more than I do.”
I always thought you were talented and enjoyed seeing you draw on streams and I'm glad you decided to sell your prints, It makes me happy to see your artwork doing so well, you do deserve it :D
