Excellent points about Reuenthal and Reinhard. After the tragedy that happened, conquest was pretty much all that Reinhard had left. It's shown that Kircheis was pretty much the only person who could get through him, as he persuaded Reinhard not to be stupid about Bittenfeld in that one early episode, but here Reinhard rejects Hilda's very reasonable suggestion. I guess her hair wasn't fluffy enough for him to listen.

@@TinyWaveTV Yeah the remake version of her has I'd say better hair but is overall more anime in general. Mecklinger's hair is also suddenly martial artist hair.

He's a fiiine character, I'd say 😆 and about him in the remake... I've seen some pictures and honestly I'm not sure 😅 the character designs of the remake look kinda mEH to me in general... I look forward to it mostly 'cause of the VAs.

i agree, the line "because fuck dictatorship" 3:38 reaffirms this. by episode 55 or so I'd have hoped that both Lohengramm's & Wenli's monologues on the topic of autocracy and democracy would have prepared the viewer a SLIGHTLY more mature / non-tribalistic / nuanced opinion on dictatorship. but alas, not much can be expected from someone who only watches the series for the appearance of the males. what are you even watching this anime for? it's clearly not for you.

It might be immature and tribalistic of me, but I dare say jumping to agree with someone who passes judgment on all women on the account of one woman's opinions is unbecoming of someone who seeks nuanced and mature ideas.
@@TinyWaveTV Touché, I shouldn't have said I agreed with the original statement because I'm sure you're right in the fact that there are women who indeed enjoy the show for many of the same reasons as I do. But I do still think it's less of a likelihood and exceptional cases.
