This AMV has such a wonderful sense of timing. So often I find AMVs and they're thrown together seemingly ignorant of the pulse of the music and it's a little painful to watch even if their clip choice is perfect. This is like a perfect antidote to that. Ahhhhhh. *Proceeds to watch 100 times*

I got the chills from watching this then rewatching it, I still found myself in complete awe. It's impressive how you explored each main character's inner demons; depicting their destructiveness and vulnerability. All in under four minutes! Your MV reminds me of why I love flawed characters and glad of the powerful bonds that develop when characters learn to depend on one another. With such character depth, this reaffirms that Steven Universe is brilliant!

This song basically tackles trauma within characters and show it shows what they've been through and what caused them to go through it for darn it was seeing what Homeworld did to those jet breaking infusing their shards together to make these Abominations it was to show what they thought of fusion at the time and this broke garnets hard to the point where she almost on a fused for Pearl it was the trauma of Rose leaving her for amethyst it was her always getting pushed around and not being strong enough for lapis it was being fused with Jasper and being a toy and homeworlds little game and being a prisoner in general in the diamond Society there's a lot of trauma and shows got characters have loose from Owl House has trauma there are characters from Steven Universe with trauma Anne from amphibia has trauma there are just so many characters in animated TV shows that have a bunch of trauma somi is abandonment issues and whatnot or somebody is is even essay and the reason why I say that is because do any of you remember the show tuca and Bertie a show that came out last year on Adult Swim about a middle-aged woman named touka and her friend birdie who would deny anthropomorphic Bird world in one of the episodes birdy revealed tutuka that she was essayed by her hurkamp teacher mentor on her camping trip and while watching that episode I just couldn't believe that that happened to her when she was little you see even adult animated shows how characters with trauma and even alcohol issues then there's also helluva boss Blitz has abandonment issues in the show to the point where he's unable to see that anyone loves him a Solas he most likely has a xiety in a Panda Express disorder from the abuse that he's suffered for being with Stella I just feel so bad for him in this show and now that new episodes are coming out about the show and now that new seasons are being planned and whatnot with there being 4 episodes plan to come out about the show and only one of them has been released yet and that's season 2 episode 4 now we got season 2 episode 5 and season 2 episode 6 and this episodes are already revealing so much trauma about these characters 4 Milly she doesn't have any trauma she was born with a mazing parents and a good life in the RAF ring with many siblings Walford her husband moxie he was born in a rough Mob Life where his dad constantly expected a lot from him and expected him to be a hard rookie like him that knew how to shoot and get what he wanted in life and whatnot but Moxxi's mother did not want that for him so she constantly intervened between him and crimson's little Fiasco's we're Crimson would constantly try to teach Moxy how to do these various horrible things like shooting a real Target and I mean shooting a real imp and this would ultimately result in her and crimson's divorce or Crimson would most likely have killed her without Moxie knowing without him ever seeing her again 4 Blitz something very horrible might have happened to his mother in the pilot his mother was originally going to be at one of his sisters but that was later changed to her being his mother at Stead with him only have one sibling and that's sibling being his twin sister Barbie wire who will be revealed in season 2 episode 5 which is coming and maybe a few months now and I assume that his mother might have died and some kind of accident or had a illness there are so many characters in the show that have trauma that has been revealed over time in these episodes for Luna she also has abandonment issues in the show because of her being raised in the pound in the sloth ring and constantly being pushed around but now she has a lot of she has the love of a father who can finally care for her needs Blitz loves his daughter very much and the show and Luna is his pride and joy now let's talk about the Owl House in the owl house it is revealed that loose has a bit of Trauma from her father's death she reveals in one of the episodes with her and Amity. It was the anniversary of her dad's death Latino traditions and whatnot there are even characters in creggan The creekbed how trauma and how then possibly abused since half of them are children or teenagers under 16 and 217 14 years old now what Steven Universe it has a lot of trauma especially for Steven I said even more trauma-related and let's talk about spinel she was literally abandoned in a garden for 6000 years by pink diamond and left her rot without knowing that pink loved her Bender with Steven Universe future where we got to see a lot of Stevens Trauma from what his mom did and from every mistake that she ever made the mega Pearl episode of Steven Universe future we got to find out how pink pearl really got her scar on her left eye it turns out when pink was having one of her little Tantrums about wanting a colony and her powers got out of control and at the time pink pearl was standing next to her the powers went out of control blasting Pearl in the way and cracking her gym forever causing it to manifest when she stressed or scared and pearl just couldn't believe that pink would do something like this to her own Pearl and Stephen had a bit about what she had done and just wanted to fix it causing the alarms to break off phone and from there Pearl and volleyball we're trapped in a giant shell and we're about to be rejuvenated back to the way they were years ago typical Pearl who did what they said during the cycle Pearl apologize to volleyball about not believing her and they started to talk about how they were still making excuses for her and from there they fused to make Mega Pearl and from there they became best friends and like sisters much like how Pearl is it's like a sister towards amethyst volleyball China became a second sister you see a lot of characters have trauma and this song really talks about that from the quotes that are shown in this video you can tell that there was a lot of trauma involved😔😌 but the characters in the shows and what not do with it in a professional way Anna very happy and kind way

I was honestly doubtful of the video when I clicked it because I've seen so many AMVs pop up in recent years where clearly no effort has been put into the editing yet they gain massive view counts. This, brought me to tears (good ones!). Not only from the song choice, which was absolutely fantastic (it's also a song very close to my heart), but also by the skilled level of effort put into the editing of the clips used. The timing and context of clips with the song pacing and lyrics is beautiful and made it a very well put together and thought out piece. I really love this!!

It's been 8 years,Man.. This AMV maked me love this show more,i was 15 back then,and everything felt so magical,and mysterious,and still today it feels the same. But with one additional flavour, Nostalgia. And today i'm 22 years old,after so long,i started watching Steven Universe Again ,it hits different as an Adult,you understand jokes,u understand the story,everything comes together later,and for me,in my mind,This show never stops to make me happy,no matter how many times i watch it over and over. As for you @AllegoriestAMV's a big THANK YOU for creating such a beautiful edit,I,Cuz when i first discovered Steven Universe the only thing i wanted,this might sound funny, but the only thing i wanted is to get back to the past to watch it in 2013,but i truly believe some things are meant to happen at the right time.
