Yes you are correct there are multiple locations that can happen in each mission. Getting a good run on drdre is very much dependent on luck. I just choose to warp to the location in which I could complete the mission the fastest.
Hello, as someone who simply wants to compete the contract faster I'd like to ask a few questions if you don't mind answering. 1. How does the recent Interaction Menu changes affect the Ballas investigation? 2. I don't have a Vigilante as I started playing around last Thanksgiving and I don't the vehicle is not one of the best purchases. What could I do to work around this? 3. Am I right in assuming the Bati 801 can subside the Powersurge? 4. Are there any changes to the game that affect how the run is played?
Sure I don’t mind, I’m happy when I can interact a bit with the community. 1. I think you mean the easy way out in the garage? If so yes it did affect the run a bit, now you can just do it through the menu. Open up the settings for online and there should be the option to ewo. 2. I honestly would go with the bati till you can afford a vigi. There isn’t a vehicle that has missiles and reaches the level of the vigi. 3. Yes the bati is perfect. Alternatively you go also go for the hakeouchu drag but for that price you might just wait till you can afford the powersurge. Have fun grinding:)
Oh and nr. 4. Yes the biggest change is just that warping like seen in that run isn’t possible anymore. If you would quite out a job now you wouldn’t get teleported, you would just exit the job. There are however workarounds, like waiting joining a friend with a different aim setting but then cancelling or waiting in the alt+f4 screen till the sound cuts of. So that’s pretty much the only thing. The cutscene skip still works (I don’t use it in this run as it is against the speedrunning rules, but for grinding it’s fine).
Well aware but that isn’t allowed in the official speedrun.com rules. That’s also the reason as to why this isn’t my fastest run, but rather my fastest legit run

I just switch between c4 (1 on keyboard ) and the rockets (4 on keyboard). Makros aren’t allowed

The teleport to 20:11, by failing the mission, does it work at the newest version?
Yes still does work, as soon as you shot down the helicopter you can ewo.
Does this work on Xbox series S?
uhhh hard to say, but I'd say yes. The job warping (teleport) now works a bit different in 2024, but else its pretty much the same.
The jet at fort zancudo never seems to spawn for me
Should still work, sometimes there is an issue if quick restart before you shoot down the heli
Leaving or joining a crew in social tab will skip the long ass studio cut scene
