(BIG MANGA SPOILERS) I think a lot of people liked him until Yato left with Kazuma as his Shinki.. Yukine felt abandoned and went to Fujisaki, Fugisaki made Yukine his shinki.. Yukine stopped thinking of Yato as his master, later Yato comes to Yukine after his mission with Kazuma, Yukine hurts Yato. Everyone stopped liking Yukine (I think, Sorry I suck at explaining things I hope this makes sence)
